Last August my wife and I celebrated our 40th anniverary and decided to fly our two children and spouses and grandkids to spend a week on the beach in Ft.Myers. I spent some time on the web and found the site called fun in the sun. I contacted the company and decided to stay at the Beach Chalet which appeared to be large enough for six adults and five grand kids. We booked the flights and the chalet well in advance, in fact I believe it was in May of 2008. There of course is alwasy apprehension while waiting for March of 2009 to roll around. When we finally arrived at the Chalet, it was more than what we had anticipated. We were estatic about the building, the interior and the beach. Our grandkids for the most part spent the entire week on the beach and in the chalet. Our experience was second to none. I would do it again in a heart beat. As a matter of fact, I met Larry the property owner who lives next door and what a great guy to visit with. The actual location of the chalet is great for walks, wading in the surf or just taking a hike to the well known pier on Ft.Myers beach. My family by the way is still talking about it today. This house is huge .We had our whole family of 11 (3 grandchildren)The house has 4 bedroom suites with bathrooms in each.It was like having 4 hotel room suites with large gathering rooms for all to enjoy together. The main living room was fa nominal
The Kitchen had plenty of room for all of us 11 chef's to prepare a variety of cuisines. Grocery store with in a mile of the house
The dinning room had large enough area to comfortably sit 15 with room to spare
The back patio's and garden Magnificent and just steps from the beach
The beach white soft sand with beautiful sunsets This is a great home for family vacations
We had daily visits from the dolphins in the morning as we strolled the beach
You are within beach walking distance from the Square and multiple restaurants
Everything you need Just show up and enjoy

Loved the home, absolutely beautiful. The beach and patio breath taking!!! Just one little snafu, the shower did not keep hot water long enough for 5 showers. It's a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom house and only one or maybe two hot showers. We had five ladies and we would take turns who got to shower first. Otherwise had a blast, made turning 50 seem fun.
