The location of this home was more than perfect. The views off the deck were phenominal. Even though the house did have some issues, we had a wonderful time and the deck and location made everything else bearable.
There was no 'folder' with any instructions for anything, as stated in the contract.
This house was not without issues. The air-conditioning downstairs never worked. The hottub didn't work, however a repairman was called and got it working on the 3rd day. We had to fill the cylinder for the gas grill. The toaster did not work, plus it was a 2 slice toaster for 8 people. For the price, we would have expected this rental company to splurge and spend $25 for a 4 slice toaster! I would recommend a little closer watch on the small items to make peoples stay more enjoyable!!
All in all, it was a good experience and we had a marvelous time. |

My family recently spent a week at Surf and Sand. The house was spacious with a spectacular deck that wraps around the house. The landscaping gave the property a tropical feel with lots of shade. The Gulf view is awesome.
We enjoyed our stay, but there were some deficiencies. The water heater is tiny and fails to provide adequate hot water. Some walls need repair and painting. Garage door remote controllers were not provided. There was no evidence that the hot tub was treated with chemicals while we were there. |
