| The Islander has to be one of the best condo's on the beach . You can't stay at a nicer place for the money ! The staff is great and included with a fair price on the room you get an excellent ammenity package which we used daily and saved several dollars . The only problem was the lack of beach which I know is out of their control . Hope to return and stay here again ! |

| As most, I was a bit reserved about my expectations going into the vacation. I must admit I was very impressed with the condo, the view and the cleanliness of the premise. Staff member, (Sheila) went out of her way to accomodate me and my family. The stores and eatery was close by and the cost was right along expectation. I really didnt want to leave! I will be going back to Destin because of the tremendous time I had. |

| I have been coming to the Islander for over ten years at least two times a summer each year. My children feel like it's their second home. I know the economy is bad, but I would much rather have garbage bags provided to me than an Islander coffeee cup. I spent money that I really needed to spend on needed things rather than a vacation so I was a bit put out when I called for a garbage bag and was told that they were no longer provided past the one that you got in the can when you arrived. Other than that, we have always loved the Islander. |

Winter Stay |

We had been long time renters at Jetty East and decided to try the Islander after our daughter and son-in-law brought their three children to the Islander. We fell in love with unit 706, the view, the layout, the furnishing.
The only thing is that the king matress is not firm enough for us old folks. Time to replace. |

The weather was beautiful and the beach was great. This was the second year we stayed in this unit and we enjoyed the stay very much. We took long walks on the beach and enjoyed the peace and quite of the vacation property.
During this season it is very nice because there are the snowbirds that rent out the majority of the rentals. This is a good thing if you are going for rest and relaxation. The view out of this unit is awesome. There are really no words to describe the morning view with the dolphins playing in the water. We will be going back again. |
