Family of six loved it and recommends it
The staff was immediatley available, kind, attentive, professional and put the keys in my hand in less than five minutes. The condo was immaculate, the decor beautiful, lots of space for our big family. The balcony view is gorgeous especially at sunset. We walked to the beach in three minutes :). There are two pools and hot tubs so you can have your pick. Everything you need is within 2 miles stores, gas, restaraunts, souvenir shops, fishing. Fantastic!

Beautiful, immaculate condo and property with excellent customer
My visit was wonderful. Please do not change anything about the Islander experience. You are my home away from home. The Islander is perfect, just as it is. I have been visiting your property since 1987 and in that time span of from then til now (22 years), I have only missed coming 3 of those years. You are the absolute best and we have many special and fond family memories thanks to the Islander. More...

The Best Vacation of My Life!!
This was our third stay at the Islander and we are never disappointed! The atmsophere there is very laid back and relaxing-people barbecueing out, playing shuffleboard, all the things you should do on a vacation. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The condos are clean, attractive. and stocked with everything you could need. What makes the Islander most unique is its amazing view of the Jetty where you can watch the boats come in from sailing, walk down to snorkel or just watch the sunset. The only drawback is the beach is very crowded due to the effects of the last hurricane. Improvements have been made since our last visit to allow for sunbathers since our last visit though. We look forward to returning next year to the Islander. More...

There is no place like the beach
We have becoming to Destin and to the Islander for years, but this is the first time we had stayed in this unit. We loved all the updates, the free wifi and kids especially liked their colorful guest room. We truly enjoyed being removed from the bustle of the elevator. We spent many evenings on the balacony enjoying the beautiful views of the sunset over the water. We love to stay at this condo again!
However the vacation was not perfect. Only one of the hot tubs was operational. And despite the cool temperatures, the staff refused to turn on the pool heater stating that it was broken. That is funny, it is broken every year. More...
