Vacation Rental Description
211 Jones Ave Tybee Island, GA 31328. More pictures coming soon! The owner has traveled the world while working for Delta Air Lines and has filled her cottage with treasures from her many trips. A true labor of love with decorating this cottage! She is also a master "junker" with a booth at Habersham Antique Mall and our lucky guests staying here will have fun with all her finds! This cheerful ground level cottage is easy to get around for visitors of all ages. Two full bathrooms are an added plus! Fenced in back yard with old fashioned clothing line. We love the outdoor private shower with hot and cold water. Sitting on "Mermaid Row" along with Maddies, Mimosa and Flip flop cottage allows several families to gather together, but not be "too close"! 4 blocks from the beach and 2 blocks from The Sundae Cafe, MacElwee's Seafood House and The Sugar Shack allows you to walk to three great restaurants. |

We absolutely loved the home. It was beautifully decorated and felt like home during our stay. We were walking distance from the beach (about 3 blocks). We only had a couple of issues. First, there were only enough towels and washrags out-- one for each guest. So we either had to wash or reuse them. No cleaning service came by during our stay. Also, they only provide one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. We had to go purchase extra. Although they do indicate this in the rental agreement, it was a surprise (even hotels provide enough toilet paper!).
Overwall, we loved it despite a few inconveniences! We'll just know next time! |
