57122This is one Beautiful Place
Left on 01/21/2012 for a stay in January 2012
Before arriving to the Villa Renaissance we were concerned it would not meet our high expectations. I can say now that we made a very good choice. This smaller resort type atmoshere is somewhat more private than some of the big resorts, but still had a lot to offer. My only concern was the pool was not as nice as I was expecting and it would have been nice if the resort had a hot tub. There is no restaurant on the property only a small bar near the front desk. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa on the 2nd floor. The Villa was well decorated and had a beautiful view of the beach. The palm tress obstructed the view of the beach, but it wasn't a big deal. We spend many hours on the balcony and enjoying the views. We stayed in January and the weather was perfect. 75 to 80 degrees in the day and 60's at night. We could not have asked for better weather. The owner, Stanley, greeted us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the resort. Whenever, we had a question Stanley was always there to make sure our trip was enjoyable. Stanley went out of his way to make sure we were happy. The location is probably the most ideal location on Grace Bay. You are close to the shopping and many restaurants. We even used the bikes at the hotel to go around town and to other restaurants that were too far to walk. If your looking for a resort that has a lot of amenties, big pool, beach bar, etc. then in my opinion this resort is probably not what your looking for. If your looking for a more private (with very few children) smaller resort, beautiful beach, quiet, and very luxurious then the Villa Renaissance may be the one.

This condo was a wonderful place to stay. It looked exactly like the pictures and Louise was incredibly helpful. We can't wait to go back!

We rented a condo in Villa Renaissance on Grace Bay. If you go to the Villa Renaissance hotel site, you will see how lovely the place is. The condo, hotel and pool is really nice and Grace Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen.
Stanley Williams, the owner, picked us up, and, because our room wasn't quite ready, dropped us at the conch shack for lunch. He then checked on us several times to see all was well during the week...which was very gracious and something that rarely happens with vacation rentals.
Food, restaurants, and water sports are all near by. Go on a snorkeling trip with Caicos Dream Tours. They will pick you up right on the beach and the crew made the trip fun and educational! -

peiParadise found on Grace Bay Beach

Loved this place! Can't recommend it highly enough!
Unit 205 of Villa Renaissance = Paradise found.
Stanley, the owner who lives in Provo, met us at the airport, then again at the condo to give us a tour of the property and its facilities...an immaculate boutique hotel, with lovely landscaping, tennis courts, gym, pool and only steps from the beach.
I was giddy with excitement when we entered the condo... it was definitely a luxury condo, very spacious (~2000 sq.ft, 2 BR, 3 Bath, granite counters, fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, laundry, wi-fi) with two amazing master suites with pool views. There was a sliding glass wall in the living area that opened fully, allowing the outdoors in, and offering an incredible view of the beautiful beach and ocean. The 28 ft wide balcony was fantastic. The condo was so nice we even asked for the floor plan :)
We were always able to find a place to lounge at the beach regardless of the time of day.
The sand was soft and white and the water was a beautiful turquoise color and warm. Breathtaking!
Situated close to the shopping district, many restaurants, and a ten minute walk to the IGa it is a very convenient location. Although centrally located, it is still a nice, quiet area.
Stanley, and his property management team checked in on us at different times to make sure we were enjoying our stay, and gave us their cell phone numbers in case we ever had any concerns. They were treating us as their guests and wanted us to have a great vacation.
Shireen and Gorgeous, the ladies at the front desk were very helpful as well, recommending and making reservations for restaurants and tours. Villa Renaissance can provide cell phones you can use for the duration of your vacation that allows international calls for 49 cents/minute (much better than the roaming rates).
The ability to pay with Visa, the personal service we received, and an amazing condo on the best beach I have ever seen, all allow us to recommend this rental without hesitation. The pictures are lovely, but pale in comparison to the real thing.
The value for this oceanfront condo can't be beat!
Feel free to contact us if you need Stanley's phone number. -

We have traveled all over the Carribean, and this place, both island & condo was just better than the rest. We were met at the airport, met the owner Stan and on the beach with in 1.75hrs upon arrival. I love the beach! Beaches were as long and the water the nices as I have ever seen on one island. Easy to get around, and safe. Everything a notch above the rest.
