Description

2 bedroom ground floor apartment, newly renovated. We live upstairs with our two dogs, Roxy and Saphire , we renovated downstairs into 2 apartments, a 1 bed and 2 bed.

The style is simple, and very comfortable. We have tried to give you everything you need from beach chairs and cooler to take with you for the day. Full kitchen allows you to cook at home if you want to, although we have so many good restaurants on Island its not really needed.

Our guests have really enjoyed the beach, its rare to find anyone on it as its not on Grace Bay.

Our favourite Sunday treat is to walk down the beach and have a rum punch or two, watch the pelicans fly by, and then stroll home..........sadly we also have to work, so that's not a daily event!

This is for the more adventurous traveler who does not want to stay with the crowds. We both work in tourism and have busy work schedules. I do work from home a lot so that i can be around to help should you need anything? The Apartment has cable Tv, wifi, apple TV and we are surrounded by trees. There is an outside table and chairs which is where i would do all my eating! We also have a BBQ available for your use.

You will see us coming and going but its a quiet area, other than the occasional dog barking and chickens laying eggs its quiet.

Response from the owner Thank you for your review, its always a great to have feed back. I apologize for the fact that you did not receive my written directions by email, and felt that i had not been in contact enough. My phone number on the website did stop working and i did not find out until after your arrival, I have since changed the number to a working one. We will be replacing the oven after this season, sadly it is very difficult to get replacement parts on island, so getting things fixed can be a lengthy process. However the door just needs an extra push, and i am sorry i did not mention that when you checked in. We are also planning to make the front garden more private for our guests in the 2 bedroom apartment and In actual fact our plans are to have our personal entrance on the other side so that you don't have to see us quite so often. Our Dogs are pot-cakes, and renowned for being good guard dogs, and full of character. They do bark, and especially when i come home as they are mad that i did not take them with me. I do have it in my advert that we live upstairs and have dogs, so i am sorry if you did not see that. We have had more guests in our 1 bedroom apartment and our dogs have gotten used to that, we have had less in the 2 bedroom, but they are getting a lot better. And when im home they make very little noise as they know they know they will be told off! The map in Trip ad visor is wrong and shows the road joining, that's not something i have control of but i have written to Trip Advisor to ask them to fix it. I am sorry that you had a bad start, and i feel that you did not get the best from me, i can only apologize. Our house is still a work in progress and this is only the first full season of rental, so we hope to get the kinks ironed out. Thank you for taking the time to review our apartment.
