The place is great. It is in an idyllic setting, facing the turquoise waters of the island, on a small cliff. Access to the beach is very simple via a romantic walkway leading to fine white sand decorated by numerous conch shells. The compound is complete, with a tennis/basketball court (with lights), an exercise room, multiple nicely decorated bedrooms, a large kitchen, expansive patio for outside dining, comfortable living and inside dining room, and a separate media//family room which is a great alternate gathering place. The landscaping is luscious and the decoration is luxurious with marble floors, comfortable furniture and spacious bathrooms. It is close to grace bay, yet accessible only via an unsaved road which adds an "island" feeling to the ambience. The whole place is impeccably maintained and security is provided by an iron gate and high walls. It also has a beautiful and large pool. I am a very discerning traveler and I could not think of a better place or setting to have spent a few days with 6 college friends (in our 50s) and our significant others (including my 2 yr old).

Stayed at the beautiful Casa V and could not have been more impressed or enjoyed it more. Perfect for a group of family and friends. The house is pure luxury and all of the rooms are wonderful. Our first night dinner was prepared at the house by a fantastic chef (and a little wine...) and was a great start. Mornings began with a Pilates instructor on our private beach. We fitted ourselves with the Casa V snorkling gear and went to Grace Bay where we saw some colorful sea life. Played tennis and basketball on the house courts. Coco Bistro is very good for dinner. We'll be back to Casa V.

The home is beautiful and is perfect for a large group. The 9 bedrooms, mostly with ensuite bathrooms are spacious, comfortable and private. The home is loaded with amenities and during our stay, we made use of the lighted tennis court, the gym, the pool, the media room, the oudoor barbecue area and dining area as well as the well equipped indoor kitchen. A beautiful lighted wood staircase provides easy access from the expansive deck to the beach day or night. We used the services of an excellent chef for a large group dinner one night as well as an instructor for pilates on the deck overlooking the ocean, 2 optional amenities I would highly recommend. Shopping, restaurants and other recreational areas are a 10-20 minute drive from the house. Everyone in our group of 14 had a great time during this stay and would certainly return in the future.

Casa V, is what you've only see in magazines with lifestyles of the rich and famous, but were able to experience first hand. The setting is breathtaking, with panoramic views of the ocean from every corner. There is no need to ever leave the compound, with every wish at you fingertips i.e. snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, tennis and cooking accommodations fit for a gourmet chef. Casa V is the most perfect place to make new friends or reestablish old ones...Thanks for the opportunity!

palo alto, CAThe most beautiful place to stay

I spent a few days at Casa Varnishkes. I was informed about the place through their website but when I got there, the place was out of this world. I was so speechless. The place is so clean with tavertine and marble floor everywhere. Right outside the back door, the beach is like having miles of your own private beach. There are 9 bedrooms but not in all in one building. There are 3 separate sleeping quarters for privacy and relaxation. Lanai overlooking ocean in main house. The open outdoor kitchen and dining area was beautiful and perfect to hang out with a group of people you love after a sun soaked day. There are illuminated steps leading to beach. The water is so shallow and reefs are everywhere, it was perfect for snorkeling. I spent many hours snorkeling by the house (and I've never done that before!)
Definitely try Coco Bistro. The food and ambiance was fabulous.
I think its perfect for small wedding or a family reunion...I can't wait to go back... -

New Canaan, ConnecticutWonderful vacation spot

Just came back from a reunion held at Casa V. The villa is more beautiful than the pictures depict. It is run by 2 sisters who think of all the little details for the comforts of their guests, from a well-equipped kitchen to the bar soap, beach towels, and safe in each bedroom. It is very clean and nicely furnished with spectacular views. Highly recommended.

New Canaan, Connecticutsuperb location and service was highest I could think of ..
Left on 09/21/2010 for a stay in September 2010
spent only 4 nights at this house which has more than I could take advantage of (tennis, pool, kitchen, tv, internet, etc.) .. the beach is just right there .. i could practically roll out of bed to watch the sunrise then roll down to the water to look for the fishes and to catch a conch for dinner... the facilities are clean and there is enough there to keep me busy or lazy (to be more exact) .. anyway, this place has my highest recommendation.
