Countryhouse in the middle of the most beautifull cities of Art of Tuscany and Umbria, very comfortable, swimming all by yourself in the Pool (no other guests but you) youll have the most breathtaking view. Beautifull Garden, Owner living nearby to be helpfull with all problems and advice.

We visit every year and every time elisabeth enthusiastic about their hospitality and cookery. The days at the pool, are in the rose garden and the evening at the fireplace always will be remembered. The proximity to the major cities of Tuscany for example Siena, Cortona, Montepulciano we enjoy. But the best are really the evenings dine with elisabeth and its fantastic. elisabeth spoiled welcoming everyone and no one goes to bed hungry. Tuscan kitchen can also bring back home - as a cookbook, olive oil or any other form. Who wants to experience something special, Il Teso istbim just right.

Wonderful accommodations in a 400 year old farm house.
My husband and I stayed here for four nights and we wish we had stayed a month. We were so very sad to leave. We enjoyed two more weeks in Italy and stayed in four and five star hotels; but the whole time I kept thinking of Il Teso, our conversations with Elizabeth, her hospitality, the friendship we developed and her cooking.
Il Teso itself is spectacular and the garden is magical. We woke up every morning to birds singing outside our window. The house is well appointed and was perfect for us. We felt like we were living in Italy without compromising on the little things that help so much when you are traveling (like fresh coffee in the morning).
Now for the cooking: Unlike my husband, I am not a foodie and generally consider food as fuel to get me through my very busy days. However, eating Elizabeth's food was like a spiritual awakening for me re: what food could and should taste like. I am sure that sounds silly but talk to me after you have tried her cooking. :) My husband took a cooking class from Elizabeth (he was the only one in the class) which was a special treat and he is still trying out her recipes and incorporating what he learned from her into his cooking at home.
We really hope to go back to Il Teso next summer and stay there the entire time and make side trips to Florence, Cortona and etc.. Il Teso is convenient and easy to get to. By staying at Il Teso we would avoid the crowds, the moving from hotel to hotel and frankly -spend our money where it counts and where we want to.

3x war ich bereits Gast auf IlTeso, 2mal im Sommer, einmal zur Olivenernte.Jeweils in Begleitung. Die Urlaube waren in vielerlei Hinsicht ein voller Erfolg:
1) landschaftlich wunderschön, guter ausgangspunkt für viele ausflüge
2) Empfang der Gastgeber persönlich, freundlich. Der Kühlschrank bei ankunft bereits gefüllt für das erste Frühstück
3) Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet, Küche, Hall mit TV, Plattenspieler, Cd's, geschmackvolle Bilder, Garten mit eigenem Platz
4) Gastgeber jederzeit für Fragen verfügbar, Kochkurse möglich
5) Swimming-Pool sehr beliebt, an kühleren Tagen geheizt.
6) Da ich Induvidualität liebe, kann ich sowohl den Gastgebern, der Familie Cetica-Haller, als auch dem anwesen Il Teso nur das beste Zeugnis ausstellen und werde sicherlich wiederkommen.

L'arrivée au Teso est surprenante. Un chemin de terre grimpant sur une colline de la Toscane et soudain on découvre un plateau duquel on a une vue de carte postale sur l'ensemble du domaine et les alentours, incroyable de beauté et de couleurs. Au milieu du plateau, deux maisons rustiques sont plantées, là , par les Dieux. Elles nous attendent avec un gazon, des fleurs et des arbres partout. La première est la maison des propriétaires et la seconde est la maison des invités.
Notre entrée sur le parking a fait apparaître les propriétaires tout sourire qui nous accueillent avec des rafraîchissements et nous dirigent, après une brève description des lieux, vers notre futur logis.
Les bruits de la campagne sont omni-présents... quelle quiétude !
Notre maison d'hôtes a tout ce que l'on peut désirer pour y vivre toute l'année, que demander de plus !
Les premiers éléments des futurs petits déjeuners sont déjà présents dans notre cuisine et notre prochain dîner a déjà été pensé et prévu par notre chef de cuisine, la splendide propriétaire des lieux Elisabeth Haller Cetica. Je ne peux que faire des éloges de la cuisine d'Elisabeth toute en saveur et raffinement, accompagner de leur vin local... un régal de tous les moments.
En résumer, cette maison agréable est bien située dans la Toscane profonde. Elle a tout le confort et a été bien pensée. La piscine au milieu de l'immense jardin est un véritable joyaux.
Les moments de détentes avec nos hôtes ont été des purs bonheurs.
Le tout a été un séjour au Paradis, dommage qu'on a du repartir. -

Three couple from alabama spent a delightful 2 weeks at Il Teso. The food was outstanding, the views were breathtaking and the hospitality of pa and Elizabetha were superb. We used this farm house as a base to take day trips to Chianti, Siena, Arrezzo, Cortono, Montalcino as well as Florence and Pienza. We returned at night to wonderful meals prepared by Elizabetha. The grounds are spacious with many gardens, a bocci ball court and a large pool. Four of us returned the next year for one week and had another glorious experience. I have rented over 12 different properties in Italy and Sicily and Il Teso is my favorite by far

I spent holidays as if I were a millionaire ! The house is just wonderful, with a lot of space and beautifully arranged. All the rooms were different, and we had access to three separate bathrooms also, we had access to a fully furnished kitchen and took all the meals outside in the garden.The swimming pool is totally private, and the water comes from the well of the house. It is clear and with the white liner the color of water is just wonderful. The house is close to many famous cities so we visited Siena, Arezzo, Florenz, Pisa... Leaving in the morning and being back in the swiming pool the same afternoon. The landscapes, the places around and the people from Tuscany are great. Also, the weather was perfect: 8 days of sunny holidays. The host are just charming and welcomed us with a free pre-dinner with a lots of Toscany specialities to eat with. Elisabeth is a very nice person, she is speaking many languages and organizes also interesting and original cuisine courses. I spent holidays as if I were in a dream. I just wish to come again.
