CambridgeWonderful time
Left on 05/03/2012 for a stay in October 2011
Had a wonderful time here.
We like walking and cycling very much in the UK and Europe,eg France. But this was something we hadn't expected. The hills are quite beautiful and different to anything we've previousley experienced. There are many different walks locally. There's also a lot of cycle routes ( its very popular in Slovenia). We were able to borrow bikes from the owners and went on some super rides all around, including the lovely old town of ptuj and its lake.
We experienced the Therme (thermal pool) in Ptuj - great fun. We also explored by train, ie went to Ljubljana - beautiful city.
The owners were great, making sure we had everything at the start, helping us with walks etc and always checking if we were ok - great service!
The house was very clean and comfortable with all the amenities advertised. Super views from the balcony.
Mainly the friendlyness of the owners and local people was so important for us in a new enviroment.
Would highly recommed this property.
