The much-loved and well appointed Lalamilo Beach House is ideally located on the north end of Waialea Bay (Beach 69) which is known for it's beautiful white sand beach and turquoise blue water.
The plantation-style, main house was designed for beach goers of all ages. It features an expansive great room, a fully-equipped kitchen with large central island and counter seating, a dining table with seating for up to 12 guests, a card/game table and a large hikiei for lounging in the traditional Hawaiian style. Waialea Bay Beach (aka Beach 69) is one of the few beautiful white-sand beaches on the Big Island. Many local families come here with their children. The summer and fall months are mostly calm and perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
The ocean bottom drops off gradually and reaches depths of around 30 feet (9 m) just outside of the bay. Below the surface, you’ll find several coral colonies around large underwater rocks. Lots of colorful fish and sea turtles live in the area.
When the surf is up, surfers are drawn to a surf break at the northern point of the bay known as "69s".

This is the best place I have ever been for a family vacation. The beach is stunningly beautiful, the house is perfectly designed for families large and small. The location could not be better on the big island! I highly recommend this wonderful spot!
