My wife & I have been coming to Puerto aventuras since 2003. We originally stayed at the Catalonia aI resort moving to a condo in Chac Hal La the last 5 years. This March we were coming with 2 other couples & were looking for a 3 bedroom / 3 bath condo unit on the ground floor & found this outstanding unit through Puarto aventuras rentals with anatolia being our contact. This unit is excellant. Rooms were all very spacious. Amenaties were planty. Well appointed kitchen where the owners have thought of everything. Great location to the road leading out to the highway, perfect view of a huge pool & steps further to a great beach area. Security around the condos is great. Grounds personnel were very friendly and always willing to assist when needed. We cannot say enough good things about this unit and Villa Del Mar. My wife & I for certain will be coming back to stay in VDM for future visits.

Elegimos esta opción ya que estábamos con mis 3 hijos adolescentes y pensamos que
esto era lo indicado. Al entrar al departamento nos invadió un fuerte olor a humedad y a cerrado, a pesar que estaba limpio. Tuvimos que retirar los cobertores de las camas y los almohadones, dado que estaban impregnados en ese fuerte olor.
El tercer dormitorio es interno, sin ventana ni ventilación. La decoración de todo el departamento es kitsch y de muy mal gusto.
La limpieza en una semana solamente estaba incluida dos veces.
El ventilador de techo del comedor, nunca funciono y no vinieron a repararlo a pesar de haber solicitado el service.
No tiene vista al mar. Solamente al parque y a la pileta.
La cocina está muy bien equipada. Pero en general el departamento debería ser remodelado y redecorado para cobrar el precio que cobran. Sin lugar a dudas es preferible ir a un hotel por ese precio, con un mejor standard de ambientación y servicios.
El complejo es bueno, y cuando se solicita algun servicio, como por ejemplo: cambio de garrafón o garrafa de gas, son eficientes.
Es importante destacar la enorme cantidad de niños que gritan desde tempranas horas de la mañana, es decir: desde las 7. En la playa, como la primer linea de mar es publica, alli van familias numerosas y cubren esa zona.
Si se tienen niños pequeños, no dudo que el complejo es interesante. Pero si lo que se quiere es estar en un lugar para descansar, no es la opción.Response from Puerto Aventuras Rentals - 01/07/2012

Agradecemos sus comentarios y los tomaremos muy en cuenta. Hemos revisado con el personal de mantenimiento la situacion del abanico del comedor y a la fecha este funciona perfectamente ya que se solicito el servicio y este fue proporcionado de manera inmediata cuando usted lo solicito solo que ustedes no estuvieron presentes a la hora que se reparo. Respecto a la decoracion: Hemos enviado copia de su review a los propietarios. De antemano se les informa a los huespedes el numero de limpiezas que incluye la renta. Sentimos mucho que su estancia no haya sido placentera ya que en efecto Puerto Aventuras es un lugar familiar. -

immaculate apartment, with fully fitted kitchen with all the utensils required. The two master bedrooms are luxurious, large and a delight to stay in though the third bedroom is a lot smaller and more basic as no en-suite. Generally very quiet location though there was work being carried out near the pool on one apartment which was a distraction. The BBQ and porch area were very nice. Didn't use the jacuzzi though as needs to be filled like a bath each time.

Once again, our trip to PA was wonderful, even though the weather didn't cooperate for fishing or for sunning. 30 mile/hour winds made you feel you were in a sandblaster for our last 3 days, and channel closed to boats. We enjoyed E104; this is the second stay in that villa, once with 3 couples, and one with 2 using it, even though the 3rd, very small bedroom doesn't have an en suite bathroom. I would like a mirror added to the master suite so that you could use it instead of the bathroom when it heated up from showers (a small thing!!) The location is perfect - 5 minute walk to the village for restaurants, shopping, groceries (small store), and to the Omni Bar on the beach - a daily happening for lunch and drinks! Maintenance, maid service, security - all first rate. Had a great transportation service, Paco Taco, who provided airport transportation as well as Akumal visits. Can transports groups in vans, too. Reasonable rates.

Our family had an awesome time here. This particular villa is terrific for a
family with kids. The size is ideal, it was clean and furnished nicely and has a
great location on the ground floor within walking distance to both pool/beach
and PA town!
Puerto Aventuras is a fantastic area with beach, dolphins, restaurants, shops
and culture all within 2 minutes walking!
