This was our first visit to the Mayan Riviera and we had a wonderful time. Puerto aventuras was a great place to have as a base to explore the area. A big thanks to Liz Thomas for all of her help sorting out the rental. The PortoBella Marina condominium was wonderful - spacious and beautifully set-up. We would definitely stay here again!

We rented unit 006 at Porto bello Marina for 18 days. The staff are excellent and always helpful especially when we wanted to extend our stay. Daily maid service was great, the benefits of having your own home without cleaning up all the time. So much to do, snorkel at the Dreams hotel beach or the lazy long beach walk on the Omni Hotel location. Walking the resort with the view of the golf course, marina, condo, homes and hotels or looking at the dolphins, stingrays or seals. Will definitely go again

We were there Jan/12. We will return. Wow!! what a great place to vacation. Spotless, spacious and the kitchen has everything you could need. We had a wonderful time kayaking on the lagoon just outside our door. (kayaks included). The snorkeling in the clear blue ocean is fantastic. It is only a min walk into the village to enjoy the various restaurants and pubs. We took in the swimming with the dolphins which was very cool. I would recommend this unit to anyone that just wants to chill out in the warm Mexico sun and play on the beach while having all the conveniences of home. We can't wait to go back.
Thanks Liz for all your help in getting us settled and to introducing us to this kind of vacationing. We always thought hotels were the way to go. Never again. Not after this wonderful experience.

We've always either stayed in a hotel or taken a crusie for our winter vacation, so we thought we'd try something different this year and rent a condo. It was great! No schedule, no feeling you had to eat to get your money's worth, you did what you wanted when you wanted. The condo was excellent, well furnished and kept. The dishwasher was broken, so they came in and handwashed our dishes each day. The two pools are nice, and there was hardly anyone using them each day.
You couldn't ask for a better location - though not on the beach it was on a waterway and we bought fish from the charter fishing boats who docked there. It was a short walk to the center of town with the shops, resaurants and beach access. And you can walk to the big grocery store on the highway if you feel like a hike.

Once again we loved our stay at Puerto aventuras. The weather was great hardly any rain. Our 2 bedroom villa was beautiful. Have met a lot of great people. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

We had a great week in Puerto aventuras staying at the Portobello. Not only was the condo very nicely furnished the property is also well kept. When we had questions the staff in the office as very helpful. The large deck overlooking the marina was the perfect place for afternoon cocktails.

The apartment was prefect; clean and comfortable. The community was lovely and the feeling of security reassuring. The are several great dining choices available and the setting is beautiful. You cannot go wrong with this one.

This is truly a wonderful condo complex. The unit was beautiful and immaculate. The grounds and pool area were also immaculate. There aren't any food or bar services as it is a condo complex. However; if you don't feel like cooking, there are so many fantastic restaurants in the village less then a 5 min walk away. I travel alone and I felt absolutely safe no matter what time of day I was outside. Transportation to Playa Del Carmen and other areas was easy as the buses stopped just outside the gates. I would definitely stay again and again.
