Once upon a time there was a dream with a vision to create a refuge by the sea, a place to rest, a getaway to renew, restore and create energy. Casa Mim was the first home built in Puerto Aventuras and the seed of this dream. Recently renovated, this 3500 square foot home sits on a beautiful stretch of ocean front. For the first time in 23 years since the onset of PA, Casa Mim opens its doors to vacation rentals. It sits on a quiet cul-de-sac, conveniently located for privacy next to an empty double lot filled with sea grapes and swaying palm trees. You will spend much time walking the front of the home looking for treasures washed up by the... sea and countless hours gazing at stars. Snorkeling is amazing and the center of town just a 10 minutes walk down the Marina.

Available to groups of up to 8, we are certain guests will unwind and leave troubles behind. Pioneer in Mexican Architecture, Casa Mim has the classic feel of a beach home.

As you drive into Casa Mim, giant lilies grace the entrance and surround your sight with lush vegetation, palm trees, bouganvillas, crotos and ample yard for relaxing on a hammock. Complete with Koi Pond with 2 resident fish, Casa Mim creates a feeling of going back home.

The bungalow, decorated in rich greens and reds is located in the garden. Mexican tiled bathroom, walk in closet, TV/DVD and French doors compliment this bedroom perfectly so the parents can keep en eye on the kids while enjoying peace and quiet from the main house.

Arriving at the main house you are greeted by wide open vistas of the crystal Caribbean Sea everyone falls in love with when they come to the Riviera Maya. The kitchen counter with bar stools is equipped with all you need to create meals at home or enjoy dinners prepared by one of the local cooks or gourmet chefs we highly recommend. The dining & sitting room face the ocean, where you can enjoy family dinners for 8 or enjoy a movie on a lazy afternoon.

Walking out through the dining room doors is the pool with covered seating. Chaise loungers and hammock make another area to share the outdoors in the privacy of your home. Bring your snorkeling gear and discover the PA coastline, you wont be able to resist.

There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor. Master Suite# 2 with offset ocean views and en suite bathroom comes with King Size bed.

Guest Bedroom # 1 with Queen Size Bed and en suite bath. Furnished with a reading nook by the window with plush pillows for gazing out at the sea.

Headed upstairs you reach Master Suite # 1 with a King Size bed en suite bath with soaker tub big enough for two. Dotted with the most incredible sunrises you will ever see, this bedroom is just incredible. Stargazing from your private balcony in this suite will be a favorite pastime.

At Casa Mim you are guaranteed to sleep like a baby and be renewed each morning you awake. We spared no expense in luxury mattresses and linens, we know you will agree. Wireless internet and free calls to USA & Cananda are included in the rent for our guests to stay connected as well as complimentary 5 days per week maid service for your stay to be a real vacation retreat.

We can't help it, we are biased. We live here and love it, everyday we are certain we don't want to move anywhere else, it's been a love affair of almost 4 decades combined, living in a quiet setting where we feel nurtured. We love the outdoors, fishing, snorkeling, the people we meet, friends always want to come visit us in Paradise and we love to show them the area. The Marina offers fun in the water for all ages any style you wish, restaurants, shops, money exchange, pharmacy and more. There is a grocery store across the hw and a local fruit market. Needless to say we find all we need at our fingertips! Making our guests feel at home just like we are is important so we offer concierge to help you organize all the extra services like babysitting, chefs, transportation, masseuse and anything you can imagine!

  My family of 4 and another family of 4 vacationed at Casa Mim this past March and I can only say this was certainly the perfect spot for us all! We very much enjoyed the hospitality that Gina and andy provided all of us, they are the most gracious hosts we've had in a long time. This was our first trip as a family to this area of Mexico and they truely made us feel at home. The casita was perfect for our needs. The bedroom arrangements, the beautiful living/dinning area, the pool and the view was very overwhelming. The boys especially liked having the bungalow to themselves.
  We were within an easy 10 minute walking distance of the center of Puerto aventuras. The many fine restaurants and shops made for a daily passtime. We always felt very comfortable walking around the area with our kids (17 yr & 15 yr). The community is very layed back and everyone is very helpful and friendly. We did take a couple of day trips to the beach (Xpu Ha) and to snorkle in akumal. We had no problems getting a cab (van) for all 8 of us. We really didn't need to rent a car (although a bicycle or golf cart would have been nice, but definately not needed).
  We would love to visit again, and would definately recommend Casa Mim to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy the beautiful Rivera Maya coastline. Thank Gina & Andy, you are the best!

  Casa Mim is home away from home. We were a quick walk or drive to the marina and at night we were lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean. It is a reat base for traveling to see the other sights around the area. The amenities are excellent and the service is fantastic. We loved having a pool! Great for a family vacation, a trip with friends or a romantic getaway.
