Description
This charming apartment is in Puerto del Carmen, the coolest place to stay in Lanzarote. It has the benefit to be close to the beaches (the lovely Playa Chica at only 500 mt and the bigger Playa Grande at 10' walk), to the supermarkets, at just a few minutes walk from the mall Biosfera (with kid games, playground, shops, and coffee bars). It is also very close to the fascinating Old Town (the Ciudad Vieja), plenty of restaurants in front of the sea (where you can eat fresh fish, tapas, typical Spanish and Canarian dishes but also can easily find Irish, English, Scottish, French, German and Italian pubs and restaurants).
It is at only a couple of minutes far from the new part of the town, with its other traditional and international pubs and restaurants, its videogames, rec rooms and whatever you might desire to enjoy your holidays. Despite this central position, the apartment is placed in a very quiet residential complex, called Colina del Sol, with its own private swimming pool (one, smaller, too for the kids), its own private parking, and even a small coffee bar/restaurant close to the swimming pool and the solarium area, very useful when you want to eat something quick.
The apartment is composed of an entrance, a very bright living room with a comfortable sofa bed and two relaxing armchairs, an open-style fully equipped kitchen, a beautiful terrace with dining table and loungers (if you want to sunbathe without even leaving home, or you wish just to relax for a while). There is the awning on the terrace so that you can eat outdoor without the problem of too much sunshine during the daytime, and wall lamp, so you can equally dinner outside.
From the terrace, you can easily see the island of Fuerteventura in front of you. Inside there is the cosy living room, with the sofa bed for 2 people. There is also a dining table if you rather eat inside, and a breakfast counter with stools. In the kitchen, fully equipped with all the optional, there is a big fridge with freezer, an electric oven, a microwaves oven, 2 hot plates (with the possibility to add another, removable and stored in one of the drawers in the lower part of the kitchen), a kettle, a toaster, and whatever you might need to prepare and enjoy a delicious meal. We always leave also extra virgin olive oil, aromatic vinegar, salt, coffee, sugar and washing-up liquid. In the living, there is a TV with plenty of channels, as NETFLIX, AMAZON PRIME Video, ROKU channels; besides, a DVD player with a bunch of DVDs, and bookcase with books, playing cards, etc.
There is a master bedroom with a double size bed and the possibility to add a folding bed. It has a very large built-in wardrobe, where there are stored also duvets and blankets, in the unlikely circumstance of cold temperature during bedtime. In both the room (living and bedroom) there is a ceiling fan. The bathroom has the shower (with soap, shampoo and hairdryer) and a washing machine (with ironing board and iron provided).
In the apartment, there is a safe that guests can use if they needed.
All the sheets and the towels (even the beach towels) are provided. For long-stay it can be provided a midterm cleaning and/or laundry (change of the bath towels and bed linen) for an additional fee.
Internet wifi free.
The apartment is meant for 4 adults maximum or 4 adults plus 1 child. It is family friendly (with also bucket and spade sets and playpen provided).
Pets and smoking are not allowed.
Side to side to this apartment there is another one, owned by my parents, that you can see and rent (if available) together with this if you wish to spend your holidays beside your friends or relatives (please, check it out to see how it looks like in my other listing).

“Colina del Sol 809”
Great location - well kept development, everything you need within walking distance. The apt is well equipped and the balcony get the sun all day. There is a sea view across the apt’s in front if you are standing up. The interior could do with some updating and there is an extremely small water heater that results in a very short shower time and regulating the water temperature was definitely a challenge! The pool area has some sun beds and a great view. Overall I got what I paid for.

I'm glad you loved the swimming pool and the (and I quote you) "breathtaking" view from the balcony, we loved them too. I know, the bins are on a slight hill, but that's Lanzarote, as a volcanic island, and in this case is actually a very very slight rise: as you said, it's kind of a healthy movement! Thanks for the tips, I will include in my "instructions" also the explications about how to heat water. Thanks for your beautiful review and maybe to the next time!!!
