This superb villa is the first villa we had available to rent in

Lanzarote

in this upmarket part of Old Carmen. It has proved to be very popular. Villa Benedicte has a

gated

entrance with entryphone. Its prime position with access from the side

gate to

the new coastal walkway to the harbour is a real bonus. If you want to

avoid the steps go out the main entrance to the coastal path and use the

zig zag path. This coastal path avoids the hills of

the Old Town and makes the harbour an 8 to 10 minute stroll away. No

need for a

car here! Benedicte is a well designed and beautifully... equipped villa

with

marble tiling throughout. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a

cloakroom with toilet. A modern but comfortable lounge with TV with some satellite channels, Free wi fi, DVD player, mini hi fi and Play Staion 2 (Bring own games). There is a separate dining room and

a fully equipped kitchen. The newly extended upper terrace which

is reached from

the kitchen or the lounge has quality patio furniture and is a wonderful

spot

for barbecuing or eating al fresco. This is the place to relax and enjoy

the magnificent views

of the sea and the Old Town, by day or night it is a real treat. There is more seating at the end of the private pool which is 6 metres by 3 metres in size. Our

many

regular clients are testimony to what a special villa this is. Spacious

enough for a large group but also perfect for a couple. Relax and enjoy

  A big thank you to Sue and her team for looking after us at Villa Benedicte. It was our second stay here and was every bit as good as the first.The villa is in an excellent position a car is not really needed ,it is spacious very clean well equiped and the water in the pool was like stepping into a hot bath.Already thinking of going back in 2014.If your looking for accomadation in a peaceful location to chill and is only a 10 minute walk to the harbour look no further you will not be dissapointed.

  Lovely Villa in Execellent Location

  We stayed in Villa Benedicte in Sept 2012 and had a lovely time. The villa is deceptively spacious. It has 3 large bedrooms, a master with a very comfortable 6 foot bed and and an en-suite shower room and small dressing area, as well as two twins which share a family bathroom with bath and shower. Free Wi-FI was available in the property, be aware this is only via a dongle so is only suitable for emails and browsing the internet. The lounge is larger than it looks and has comfortable seating for 6, a small music system which if you bring some phono leads you can connect an iPod/iPad to, a flat screen TV with a number of free english channels. It has patio doors which lead out to a relaxing terrace area overlooking the pool which has 4 cushioned shairs and 2 small side tables. The villa has a separate dining room with a table for 6 and a large kitchen with everything you need in it which has doors leading out to the second part of the raised terrace which houses a further outdoor dining area with a table and 6 chairs, the bar-b-que and a fireplace. This area is very sheltered and is lovely for sitting out in the evenings. The pool whilst quite small is perfectly adequate for cooling down in and has roman steps at one end and a stepped shelf at the other end, perfect for just sitting and reading a book in the water. There is a further sitting area at the end of the pool. There are some lovely views of the sea from the raised terrace. If you hire a car you can park within the grounds of the villa, which is at the end of a lovely road just one row back from the sea. The villa is very close to two of Sue's other villas, El Sueno is at the end of the road and Villa Loretta is next door. There is a side gate from the rear of the garden which takes you directly to the steps that lead down to the harbour, or up a short slope to the Montana Tropical Complex which houses some bars and restaurants, a spar shop and an english butcher. We can recommend the hearty english food and warm welcome in Taylors Tavern and also Mario's Pizzeria if you prefer Italian food. If you are in the old town area, do take advantage of the walk to Puerto Calero, about 45 mins walk across fairly flat rough ground (with one slightly trickier bit). Sample the ambiance of the new marina in one of the bars restaurants and if you don't fancy the walk back then take the water taxi which takes you back to the old town harbour. The management company are excellent, really nice people we had one slight problem with the bathroom window whilst we were there but the management team came out promptly on a Sunday and provided a temporary fix and the window was replaced before we left. We will definitely be back to this villa again as it was comfortable and in a perfect location wihin the old town.

  Fabulous Villa in Puerto Del Carmen

  My husband and I travelled to Lanzarote to race in the Ironman event there. We loved the look of the Benedicte online and exchanged emails with the property manager Sue leading up to our arrival. Sue was wonderful to work with and even arranged a private shuttle for us with our luggage and bikes. The Villa exceeded our expectations and was even more spectacular in person than on the website. Fully equipped and a wonderful place to stay, we'd return again in a heartbeat. Great property and wonderful to work with Sue to put this trip together!

  Stayed here Easter 2012. Villa gorgeous. Extremely clean with lovely views of the marina. All correspondence with Sue from the Management company was met with a "nothing too much trouble" attitude, which ensured our holiday was perfect. Thanks Sue and your great team.
