Casa Jacaranda is located on Calle Jacarandas, which is now considered the best street at the beach. With many beautiful homes and local to everything in the popular Playa Zicatela area of Puerto Escondido. It is 2 minutes walking distance to the sand with world class surfing the Mexican Pipeline and 5 minutes walking to many beach front restaurants and stores . From each floor and roof top terrace where many lazy days are spent you have full sweeping views from Playa La Punta (at the far end of Playa Zicatela) to the fishing boats moored at Playa Principal.

The focal point of Casa Jacaranda is the awesome ocean views with dolphin and... whale watching easy to do from the terrazos it is decorated with a muted and tasteful decor to let the ocean view be the star of every room and floor ,calm and cool inside ,this entertainer villa was buit with every thing in mind to cater to a realxing ambience and to enjoy your stay.

On the first floor there are two master suites with California kings, high end linens, and in suite private baths with beautiful mexican tile. Both these suites are separated by the living room for privacy or sleeping late.

There is a pool and childs play pool on this level, an additional outdoor lounge area with wrap sofas , hammock, outdoor furniture, and pool loungers.

The living room has recliner, sofa, video game and book library and is decorated with wonderful mosaic hand embroided linens on the walls made by the ladies of Chiapas.

On the second floor there are two more master suites that open directly onto the terrazo with table, chairs, and recliners with California king beds and in suite private baths decorated with more of the Mexican tile. The luxurious suites are separated by the large chefs kitchen and seating for 10 it opens directly onto the large wrap around decks with outdoor tables for dining.

The third floor roof top terrace is always ready for entertaining. There is a massive covered area with seating at beautiful local grown wood table for 12 people to dine have parties and entertain .

The roof deck also has an open sun area.

There is a wet bar, extra refrigerator/freezer for cold beverages, gas BBQ grill, and also a half bath. So, you don't have to leave this area often once you settle in for a relaxing afternoon out of the sun.

  Casa Jacaranda is without question the best place to stay on the best beach in Mexico. Centrally located on Zicatela beach one block back that gives you the view dreams were made of. The staff the house which features 4 master bedrooms, pool, large kitchen for cooking and 3 larger decks to view the ocean. The top floor is a roof top deck/bar with huge table to enjoy a BBQ dinner with all your friends and watch the evening sun sink into the water directly in front.

  What I call my perfect vacation

  I enjoyed the moment I got there till the very last day in which at that point I wanted to extend my visit forever:) Casa Jacaranda is a cool, refreshing, clutter free and clean large estate with an open view of those wonderful waves which to my brother and I was eye candy view every morning.This adobe masterpiece sits hillside, along with other homes scattered through out the wild palms, with a commanding view of the pacific blue, specifically player de Zicatella, home of the infamous Mexican pipe. Palm trees are plentiful. Ornamental cactus line the pool while bright touches of tropical fauna cascade over adobe walls. And yes the birds are singing. Different birds, different songs. The tiled roof tops mixed in with the tiki grass- palapas, accent the true textures of a Mexican village de la mar. This place is beautiful .
  It is located in the heart of the small town- so just walks away from the cultural local feel of fresh mexican flavors in the beachside restaurants. Also a great open air cafe right down the block ran by an american man where you could go for wi fi and fresh squeezed juice and possibly run into neighbors from the states that you did not even know you had. All around you get the culture from mexico, the comfort of an american twist. Casa jacaranda also has wonderful house keepers whom are happy to teach you a few tricks in the kitchen with the colorful produce brought back from the market. Make a refreshing memory and take a lovely chance at casa Jacarand. After that you will want to make it a returning memory:)

  Lovely Vacation Home in Town

  I have stayed at Casa Jacarandas three times now and each time is a great experience! A couple of years ago we brought our yoga group to this house and did a month long retreat and teacher training. Most recently, my boyfriend and I stayed there on our own for one week.
  
  There is a beautiful ocean view terrace on the top of the roof that is perfect for yoga!
  
  It's a beautiful and well kept home. There are 4 bedrooms, each with a big king size bed. Full kitchen, and a wonderful local woman who comes in a few hours a day to clean and make sure things are well kept.
  
  This home is very close to the Zicatela strip, so everything is within walking distance. But it is also far enough way to keep the noise to a minimum at night. Just the sound of the ocean and of course some singing dogs! But you would find that anywhere in Puerto.
  
  The property manager, Ana, also lives close by and is available through email or phone and is very helpful in solving any issues if they arise.
  
  You are in good hands if you rent this home!
