We stayed at the Bali Hai condo for six weeks this year. Martina our property manager was outstanding and took such excellent care of us. Martina's attention to detail and genuine personality made it a no brainier that we would return here again in 2014 and 2015!!! Yes it was that good. The condo is spacious, clean and definitely has the wow factor. We enjoy the finer amenities and the Bali Hai was perfect. The short walk to Puerto Morales was just the right distance for us, not too close and not too far. I think we only used a taxi once during our entire stay. Got lazy that day! We are not new to PoMo and have met so many truly nice people here. We are definitely hooked on the Bali Hai and of course Martina, whom we consider a friend.
Highly recommend the Bali Hai, no disappointments here!!!

We have stayed in this condo for years. Sometimes we stay in the lower level and other years we are in the condo unit above it. These condos are very clean, well decorated, quiet and have a great view of the ocean. They are a short walk to town via the beach or the road. The rental property manager Martina is awesome as well! I mentioned that I loved the coffee mugs that they had in the unit and she offered to pick some up for me. I now think of Mexico every morning when I have my coffee. I also unfortunately, left my Iphone 5 along with my driver's license and credit card in the unit. Martina sent everything overnight!! I didn't have to go through the hassle of cancelling my credit card or being without my cell phone for days. I would highly recommend staying here!

i stayed at this condo with some friends and my girl last summer. i think there can't be words to describe how much we all loved it. the first couple nights there were no other guests in the whole condo, so we had the pool and its chairs just for us! the view from the flat or the pool is like a dream, we felt like we were rock or movie stars in a fancy vacation... only that the price for each one of us was even cheaper than staying in a student hostel with no pool and blocks away from the beach.
at first there was a little problem with the main aC (which was actually not necessary because just by opening the terrace door we could enjoy the fresh breeze from the sea), but martina sent the technics to repair it the very next day.
the kitchen has everything you need (except the food and beers, of course), the wi-fi and the sat-tv work great, the baths are awesome (on of them is like a little jacuzzi, sweeet!), so luxurious.
the only thing i didn't like as much as the rest of the flat was the 3rd bedroom mattress (behind the kitchen), it wasn't very comfortable for 2 people, but i'd say it would be great for a single person.
if you're going to the mexican caribbean with friends or family and want so stay out of the noisy & full of american drunks cancun but still enjoy the white sandy beaches, this is it. in the little town centre you can get basic groceries, eat great seafood or pizza, find a couple of laid-back bars or event rent a lovely snorkeling tour. just remember to wear some sun-block and enjoy the 40-minute walk from the condo.
renting a car is almost a must, so you can visit the not so known and close cenotes (7 bocas is amazing), tulum, cobá or some other sights (playa del carmen, xcaret, xel-ha, etc). akumal is maybe a 90 minutes away drive, but the swimming with turtles experience is absolutely worth it.Response from Martina StAmand - 12/09/2012

El condominio en perfectas condiciones, muy limpio y todo funcionando perfecto, mas de lo que esperabamos, un lugar muy tranquilo, casi no pasa nadie por ahi asi que es como playa privada, el unico inconveniente es que esta un poco retirado del parque y tuvimos unos inconvenientes con los taxistas pero por parte del condominio todo perfecto, sin duda en 2013 regresaremos

I loved everything: the constant breeze, the sound of the ocean, the ability to walk out of my condo and be greeted by the emerald green water. Two bedrooms were gigantic and had more closet space than I do at home; the third was small but sufficient. The bathrooms are made of marble and the water was always hot. (I was told that in Mexico this is rare). Everything is exotic, new and shiny. We had a small problem with the cable and Martina was there to help us in less than 15 minutes. The only complaint I have is that I had to leave, but am planning another trip in 2113.

We cannot tell you enough how much we enjoyed our stay at this condo. The location was more beautiful than the pictures, and the condo was spacious very clean. We are time share owners with 5+ star resorts, and we found this condo to be the same quality, but without the crowds. We loved laying by the pool or sipping our morning coffee overlooking the white sand beaches and the pool. We also loved walking along the beach to town to have dinner or shop. We loved the fresh ocean breeze and hearing the waves. We were also very pleased that the manager of the condo was reliable, accommodating, and available throughout our stay for whatever we needed.
We will definitely be back, as not too many other places will compare with the beauty and relaxation of our holiday here."
