After 17 days in the hustle and bustle of Merida, our stay at Abbey del Sol in Puerto Morelos was very relaxed and enjoyable.
Located a couple of minutes walk to the beach or a 20 minute stroll into the main town, things were easy to get to. Our rental unit was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. The staff were pleasant and most helpful and answered all queries politely, offering many tips on where to eat and visit.
We would not hesitate to return. -

You will not find better service than at Abbey del Sol!! They have every little detail covered and really go beyond what is expected or required as far as client care and service goes. We rented Casa Juanita for one week during our 6 week stay in Mexico, but I wish we would have booked more time at one of the many beautiful Abbey del Sol properties. We hope to be back soon!

I have wandered the Caribbean islands and Central America and I only RETURN to lovely Puerto Morelos and Abbey del Sol. I like simple, fresh, and real cultural experiences blended with good value and relative safety. I know I can get it all here. The accommodations are all immaculate and comfortable; the staff helpful and pleasant. Add in the warmth of the locals, the variety of inexpensive restaurants, the gorgeous white sand beach, and the beautiful reef just off-shore -- why would I go anywhere else? Book it and enjoy!

For the most part the house was great! The bathroom was a little small and well used, but we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. I would recommend it!

This was our fourth winter in Puerto Morelos and second stay at abbey del Sol. Wonderful town and comfortable apartment. Our reservation for 2012 has already been made!
