We spent a week and wanted to cry when it was time to leave. The caretaker "Randy" was helpful and made great suggestions as to what to do in town. The owners have made this a place of enjoyment. Rising in the morning to a warm breeze, showering and having coffey by the pool started the day. Strolling the beach, having fresh fish for lunch and shopping the native shops gave enjoyment and past the time. If you want to get away from the noise and hustle of the busy cities, this is it. Of course if you miss it, 20 miles to the north or south takes you to Cancun or Playa Del Carmen. But knowing all the time you can get home to the breeze and ocean sounds while you watch the stars.

Positives: location is great and peaceful . Walk to the adorable village of Puerto Morelos.
Beach is gorgeous and can walk it for a long way. soft sand.
House has a wonderful layout and is very comfortable for a large group or family
The pool area is beautiful and there are several screened in areas and balconies
Randy, the caretaker, is on premises and very helpful
Grounds and yard are very private and just beautiful
Negatives: communication with the owner is a little sporadic and difficult
The house, especially the kitchen could use some updates
There is no washer and dryer available for guest use
Very hard mattresses if you are not used to that
all in all we would recommend this house and location -

Casa South Breeze was amazing. Beautifully decorated, clean and worth every dime we paid to stay there. In my opinion the most beautiful property in Puerto Morelos. What did we do on our trip - hung out at Casa South Breeze. We never wanted to leave - ever. Randy was on site to make sure everything was perfect - which it was. Couldn't have picked a better place. We had to leave Casa South Breeze but plan on going there again next year. But this time we are going to make the stay longer.
