Cristal building unit # 802 is tastefully decorated and furnished by the owner to give you a comfortable and cozy feel that does not detract from the beautiful beach views. Our oceanfront condo is *very* close to the beach and ocean, so you can hear the waves lapping at the shore and savor the salty breeze. For Arizona, New Mexico, and SoCal residents, Rocky Point is very accessible--less than 4 hours driving time from Phoenix or Tucson. Close enough to come to the beach just for a weekend, and without the cost and hassle of air travel. And you can bring as much of your stuff as you can pack in your SUV! As for Las Palomas Beach & Golf Resort, this is the premiere resort complex in all of Rocky Point. The Sandy Beach location is amazing, and the resort is truly 5-star from the quality of the condo interiors to the resort amenities available.
There is something for everyone at Las Palomas. The kids will flock to the many pools, lazy rivers, waterslide, and of course to the beach to swim or to take a banana boat ride. For the adults, there are ATV or jet-ski rentals, or for the more adventurous try renting a sailboat, going parasailing, or taking an ultralight flight over Sandy Beach. Bring your frisbee, football, horseshoes and bocce set--bocce at low tide is a local favorite.. Don't forget to take a pitcher of margaritas down the beach with you, since all those activities are sure to make you thirsty. Just want to relax and decompress? Read your book under one of the many beach palapas, or use one of the comfy chaise lounge chairs right on your balcony. When you are beat from a long day of beach activities, you can either head to Old Port for food and drinks or just unwind right in your condo. We prefer to buy fresh-off-the-boat fish and shrimp in Old Port, then cook up a feast at the condo while sipping on some margaritas. Enjoying a DVD movie is a nice way to wind down the day, and you will watch your movie on the family room 42" LCD TV's, equipped with a 1000 watt surround sound home theatre system. When you are ready to retreat to your bedroom, you'll find a 32" LCD TV with DVD player there as well. Want to get online and check your yahoo email? You can do that too, since there is a computer in the condo with free high speed internet. Or you may connect your iPad or iPhone to the complimentary wireless internet servicve. You are also welcome to access the huge MP3 music library on the computer, or you can tune into the local radio stations or play a music CD on the home theatre system. There is LOTS to do at Las Palomas. Just bring a cooler of food and drinks, your bathing suit, and a toothbrush!

We had been very pleased with the owners and their response to our many questions. They provide a detailed email with all the information you will need to enjoy your stay. WiFi in the room was a huge bonus and the unit was well furnished with pretty much anything you'll need for a very comfortable stay. I really can't think of a single negative (maybe ease of check-in/out but there was a triathlon in town so likely busier than normal). We are already planning our return visit for later this summer. Thank you again for a wonderful weekend...

We were greeted at the resort at the front door by staff and warmly welcomed. Check in took a total of 10 minutes. Make sure you have a credit card for the $150 deposit or cash, they will not take debit cards. There is a problem refunding the debit cards, we were very thankful they told us that up front. The condo had a fantastic view and was very clean. It was great sitting on the balcony watching the sunrise in the morning and listening to the waves, very calming and relaxing. There are a couple pools with lazy rivers, swim up bar, work out room, small store and a discount at the golf club. Loved having the choice of sitting at the beach all day or chilling by the pool. There were local vendors on the beach, so if you don't want to go down town you can get your souvenirs right at the beach! Also, there are jet skis, banana boats, rock climbing and horseback riding all available right on the beach in front of the resort. Just a great little paradise not to far from home! Will definitely be staying again!

Este condominio esta muy bien para quedarse, la cocina esta muy bien equipada, y lo mejor es la ubicación del condo ya que la terraza tiene sombra en la mañana y desde muy temprano en la tarde empieza a tener sombra por lo cual puedes estar ahà cómodamente casi a cualquier hora. Aunque el condo esta en el piso 8 queda justo al salir del elevador asà que esta muy accesible y relativamente cerca de las albercas y la bajada hacia la playa. El único detalle que no me convenció del todo es que la cama principal esta demasiado blanda para mi gusto, pero fuera de eso el Hotel en general esta muy bien y aunque leà reseñas de mal servicio, a mi me atendieron muy bien desde el guardia en el estacionamiento, en recepción, etc.

I have been to Puerto Penasco approxiamately 30 times or so and have stayed in hotels, condos, and private houses before. However I can't recall staying in a nicer resort than Las Palomas. The grounds were beautifully maintained, nice restaurants, and incredible views. However what made the trip special was the room that my girlfriend and I stayed in. Beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, incredible view, free internet in the unit, great kitchen with all the necessities and also a washer and dryer. Furthermore than the unit Ted and Patsy are incredibly accomadating. They allowed me to change the specifics of my reservation a couple days before and even granted me permission for early check-in and late check-out. I would recommend this unit or any other unit that Ted and Patsy have available.

I stayed at Cristal 802 during the first weekend of May, 2011. The condo is nicely decorated with great amenites. We found it very clean upon arrival. All the furniture is in great shape and the condo has many upgrades including a beatiful travertine Bathroom.
The ocean view is just awesome and Las Palomas is a great place to enjoy a vacation . Great swimming pools, jacuzzi and a lazy river. We would definitely repeat..
