Delfin Azul is a three bedroom, three bath condo with two master bedrooms, one of which is a separate suite with a full bed, private bath and private entry; the second master bedroom has a queen bed and private bath. The third bedroom has twin beds. The kitchen/living room/dining area has a breakfast bar, ample seating and a wonderful ocean view that overlooks the beautiful waters of the Sea of Cortez. I have rented from Oceano for years, and have stayed in this home one time before. This trip I was very disappointed in several areas. Delfin Azul was crawling with ants. We could not leave food or cups of beverages on the counter and were constantly sweeping to keep the ants away from babies that were vacationing with us and crawling around.
As for Oceano's Service-- We arrived Friday afternoon, immediately returned to Oceano's office to ask for maintenance to repair the sliding door frames that were falling apart-1 had a 1/2" gap between the glass pane and the frame & also to have someone exterminate the UNBELIEVEABLE amount of ants. Maintenance tech was very nice fiddled around with some other small items we asked about, and then said he would have to buy the needed supplies for the door and spray for the ants, but would return Saturday after 9a.m. to fix everything. Needless to say, he still hadn't returned as of Monday at our checkout time. When I informed Oceano of this bad service, I was told maybe the tech didn't speak English well enough to understand. I told Oceano--no way--I am fluent in Spanish and he understood completely. What a Bummer! With the numerous rental sources available in Rocky Point now, I would have expected some sort of apology or a next time coupon or something that took responsibility for this bad service. I did fill out a comment card at checkout, but have yet to hear anything regarding this bad experience.
