La Gaviota is a beach front condo that has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths--the master bedroom has a queen bed and bath, and the other bedroom has twin beds. There is a fully equipped kitchen, including coffee maker, blender, microwave, and toaster. The living room has a queen hide-a-bed and fireplace (bring own wood or fire logs). Other amenities include central heating and cooling, VCR, a charcoal barbecue, and a patio in the back, as well as a beach front patio. The location is great-- right on the beach, but too close to a strip club so there is late-night noise. The place was very clean and comfortable, but in need of several repairs. Most of the door looks were messed up or sticky. The house has a garage -- great for parking at night, but the garage ceiling is disintegrating and covered the car with white dust.
I hope this doesn't sound too negative because the place is a real bargain but they should put some of the income back into the property in the form of upkeep. I fix houses for a living; they should trade with someone like me -- repairs in exchange for a stay at the beach. -

Everything was clean and most everything worked, but there are issues that need some upgrading. The porch furniture was of no use. The table top was missing and the chair seats were all sun rotted. Not a problem, as we brought out own chairs. A little long overdue cleanup/fixup is in order.

Four of us, all adults, rented the condo for three nights. This place has a HUGE garage which is perfect to store a large vehicle. The beach is right outside your patio door, perfect. Grill came in handy for carne asada. A/C worked, hot water, good pressure, private entrance, with night watchman/security on premises.
Condo can sleep six, I would say four comfortably with those in the pull out queen futon, not so comfotable. Some trash left in the garage but inside was clean. TV with one channel using rabbit ears. Bring VHS movies!! VCR is available. Across from the Sandbar and next to Hotel Mirador Village.
Overall good experience would rent again.
