Las Palmeras is a lovely, spacious, airy beachfront home in Las Conchas. It has 5 bedrooms and 5 baths, and one of the bedrooms and bath is actually in a separate guest house with its own private entrance. This home is perfect for couples. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. The first bedroom has a king size bed, decorative fireplace, TV monitor for VCR, ocean view, access to the outside patio and large private bathroom. Very relaxing, right on the beach. Caught sunrises and sunsets. Only issue was that kitchen was not well equipped for a larger group especially pots and pans, knives.

I have stayed in 6 different Las Conchas homes. By far, this house was located on a nicer beach, with less rocks and lots of sand. The house itself was at one time probably very nice, but it is a little on the run down side. I don't think the owner spends any time here by the lack of any kind of maintenance on the house. For example, the kitchen used to have a built in double oven. Now, neither the top or the main oven is hooked up, and for extra tackiness, the door to the top oven had been removed and a microwave was placed in the hole.There are missing tiles, the back door doesn't even have a lock on it, and the kitchen utensils are a joke. We loved the location and the spaciousness of the house, but it is not worth the $600+ a night. Despite all this, our family, as usual, had a great time, and we will probably use Oceano again...we just won't get this house.
