Mariposa is a two bedroom, two bath condo--the master bedroom has a queen bed and private bath. The other bedroom has twin beds. There is a fully equipped kitchen including a coffee maker, blender, toaster, and microwave. The living/dining room, that overlooks the Sea of Cortez, has a queen sized sleeper sofa and a wood burning fireplace (bring own wood or fire logs). The ocean side patio has a charcoal barbecue and patio furniture. Other amenities include central heating/AC, fans in all rooms, and TV Flat screen with satellite and DVD . We were in Rocky Point to celebrate the end of another successful school year. Spend a wonderfully relaxing weekend on the beach, which was beautiful. The house was nice. We've stayed in several of the smaller "rowhouses" there and we love them. The house isn't fancy, but it makes it more affordable for us. We come to spend time on the beach, not in the house!

We had a very nice time staying right on the beach. Kids played in the sand and the adults relaxed. We will definitely come back. Already looking to book our next trip there.

All the Las Olas townhomes in Las Chochas are ideally located, but not all are created the same.
This one was updated and in good condition, with a nicely redone extended patio having plenty of room.
That was important with 2 and 4 year old boys with us, to be comfortable with "room to roam".
They spent as much time as they could on the beach and in the tide ponds, yet us adults could relax and watch them play safely.
Everybody had a great time and would go back in a heartbeat.
This is why I always rent from Oceano, I know I will get what I want and expect. As always, Daniel went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and help us find things around town.

La Mariposa is a lovely little condo in a lovely little place, we couldn't have asked for more. It was perfectly sized for 4 people, close enough to town to easily pick up charcoal or beer or what-have-you, the cookware in the kitchen was better than in my own home! It was very clean and comfortable. One morning there were three fishermen in a small boat fishing right in front of the place. We bought the freshly caught fish from them and grilled them that night (with the bbq provided)! The beach was clean and the water warm, we saw whales from the terrace.
Just a couple of improvements recommended: while of of the sofas is perfect for two people, the other one isn't quite. Also, we seemed to be there during a strange fly-migration time, so screens on the windows would have been helpful. Other than that, it was perfect! And the customer service was excellent-thanks Omar! We'll definitely be coming back! -

We had an excellent time. The beach front condo was a great choice. Our three kids (5,3 & 2) couldn't of had it better. They were on the beach day and night and loved it. The weather was perfect, we really enjoyed the 4 days we stayed there. The actual condo felt a little too small for us but it was worth it. There seemed to be a big water leak in one of the closets but Oceano took care of it right away. Thanks Oceano for the great service.

First time renter from Oceano and they were very accomodating. The property although older had pretty good plumbing (very important in Mexico)good air, however there was a leak and the hallway closet had a couple inches of standing water and the TV didn't work most of the time. I have stayed in the Los Olas condos several times and although this wasn't the best it wasn't the worst either. However, there is nothing like walking out the patio door on to the beach. The location is GREAT!!!

Mariposa was very clean. The kitchen was equiped with everything one would need to prepare meals. It was a good sized condo for my family of four. The back door is steps away from the ocean. The back patio table is a nice place to eat on and the covered patio area was great to relax on. The satellite TV and DVD player were great when you needed a break from the sun. This was only our second trip to Rocky Point and we found Oceano Rentals easy to find and the condo easy to find too.

This is one of several small casitas at Los Olas. Since they are all very similiar the differences are on the inside. This casita was well furnished and had a great ac. We love staying at Los Olas because you walk out the door you are on the beach.

This was not the first time i've stated in the row of little houses and it won't be the last! It was very pretty with tile everywhere. Nice sitting area let me enjoy the wonderful weather. It was a good trip. Even had a BBQ so i could cook all the fish we cought!!
