I was somewhat hesitant to believe the deal. I can tell you it exceeded my expectations the entire way. The villa was gorgous, the food delicious and the beaches, pools and shows were awesome! I will definately be returning soon.

From the time we arrived we had extraordinary service. The staff continually went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The accommodations are clean, comfortable and relaxing. Close to pools, restaurants and the ocean. I liked that there is entertainment if you want it, yet beautiful, tranquil walking paths, and quiet areas if you choose. I really enjoy a balance of socializing and relaxation. I get everything I need and more. If I had anything to complain about it would be that at times it is hard to get the earlier reservation at meal time. Also the incident of losing our reservations for our trip to the airport.

I was very wary when first talking with alex on the phone. The deal simply sounded too good to be true. I did my homework and decided to go ahead and book it and I couldn't be happier that I did. We arrived to a courteous welcome and an easy VIP check in process (VIP is the only way to do this resort- it gets you in the better beaches, restaurants and bars) we were very happy with the adjoining suites we were given, they were large, clean and comfortable. We ate and drank like kings, lounged at the beach in an enormous bed and had a wonderful break from this long winter.

We just returned from our third vacation at Lifestyles Holiday Vacation Resort. This was our first trip as Shareholders, and everything was just perfect. We arrived at Puerto Plata airport and were quickly boarding our helicopter and whisked away to our vacation destination. This time we decided to stay in a two bedroom Presidential Suite which was a great decision. Check in was simple and quick.. and the staff went to great lengths to get our suite ready early due to our early arrival.. We had two bedrooms, three bathrooms, stainless steel kitchen, living room and a beautiful balcony with both mountain and ocean views! The fridge was stocked with snacks, beer soda and water and my liquor selections were available shortly after. We picked up our golf cart and were off to see old friends. Dinner on our first night was at azul - just so special. The atmosphere, the food and the waitstaff were simply extraordinary. We also dined at Skewers on Serenity Beach which was a lot of fun, and my husband's favorite. Meat on sticks, perfect for him. Another favorite was Rodizio, tons of food and the staff makes it a good time. We enjoyed all of the restaurants very much. Not only did we find the food excellent but the staff were always pleasant and very eager to make sure we had an enjoyable time. We able to go to the Shareholder's Beach Deja View this time, and it is just incredible. As all the other beaches it is kept flawlessly and the beach service is to die for. Everything from moving your lounge chair to bringing you food from an amazing menu is taken care of and always with a smile. There is a new beach also called NV Beach. This, without question is a great addition to the resort. The sand is silky soft, there are tons of lounge chairs, beds, hammocks etc to rest on. Also, their menu has a great pizza selection and everyone you talked to really liked it. We were sad to leave our home away from home, and will be returning again in the near future.

This was our 3rd time down to this Resort and the best yet. The weather was perfect for our 12 day stay - our accommodations were all that we were expecting - we stayed at Confresi Palm for the first 3 nights and then they moved us to the Presidential Suites for the remaining time ... So even though we needed to move, it was seamless. The food at this Resort is "top-notch" ... even for a foodie like me. The people working at this resort are friendly, warm and most accommodating ... You really get the feeling like they enjoy working here. This is a very clean Resort ... people are always cleaning the surrounding area, beaches, rooms. We have already booked for next year, and will continue to make this our vacation spot of choice - would highly recommend this Resort!

We rented a room at the Lhvc resort thorugh alex in February 2013. Overall it was exciting vacation. There were some downsides: we have chose to stay at the Tropical due to my mobility problem. Alex warned us against it and was right. I do not recommend staying in Tropical. All other complexes are much nicer. The food and beach for non-members, especially at the Tropical, was below 3* for sure. To the contrary, everything that came from renting through alex, i.e. Vip bracelette and all VIP priveleges, was great and way surpassed my expectations. Especially great things for memebers were:VIP beaches, in particular NV beach and Serenity beach - awesome settings and awesome service, the VIP restaurants - we stayed 9 days and did not have a chance to try all restaurants but the ones we tried were great, including Jazz, Rodizio, Skewers, Trapishe, Blue Lagoon and especially VIP Gourmet. All retsaurants are beutifully decorated and provide distinct culinary experience, and service was awesome. For lunch, we found the best place was anja's lounche, exactly as alex told us. Other good places are Oh Crepes at the Serenity beach, decent snack bar at the Harmony beach. All stuff at the resort was very friendly and helpful, people were all nice there. The trip to the Ocean Word also surpassed my expectations. It was lovely trip, everything clean, shows were great and amusing, trasnportation was easy. My 2 kids and husband also loved it. I also want to thank alex for being extremely helpful throughout our journey: his resort description, map and tips were very useful, he checked on us while there if we need anything, and was very responsive and helpful overall. I will certainly book from alex again and recommend him to all my friends. My advice, don't go to Lhvc if you are not a quest of a member or member yourself, not worth it all. So rent through alex and enjoy all nice perks not available elsewhere especially at this price.

Alex came through again. Limo from airport,stocked, Presidential Suites were as advertised. Not a shock, as this is our 4th year here, why would you go anywhere else! Reception, top notch, housekeeping was at it's peak. We are not shareholders, just normal people from alberta. We brought down friends with us this time, and they loved the experience. We buy our excursions from Eddie on the beach (Sorry Lhvc, but we save over 50%), and you want honest. If u want good steak, always order the filet. Cofresi Palm is loud,nearer the beach. Presidential Suites are great,nice and quiet. Be prepared to walk, and make sure you do the 7 Waterfalls. Ian and his staff welcomed us to the villa and continued to give the finest service all week long. The floor plan of the villa is excellent for a group of people. Lots of privacy but lots of room to gather in a big group too. The dining area and lounge areas outside were our favorite place. We loved the pool, the rooms were nice but a little dark (they are adding some lamps) and the grounds were beautiful. The ocean is just down a beautiful walkway. The waves were rough but the water was nice. The best part of the whole trip was the ultimate relaxation afforded because of the staff. Amazing group who were so friendly and so helpful. Food was delicious.

I spent two weeks in the Lifestyle Vacations Club Resort and I must say that it was an unforgettable experience. I began my stay in a junior suite, which was okay. I switched afterwards to a spa suite which was nice.
I must mention three elements that made my stay unforgettable:
1) the curteousy of the staff
2) the numerous beaches and pool (absolutely gorgeous!!!)
3) the excellent food served at the numerous restaurants (indian, italian, asian, etc.)
I would easily recommend this resort to anyone who wants a nice place, beautiful beaches and excellent food at an affordable price. -

Our group consisted of 14 people. Originally we requested a home and at the end opted out for Oceanside suites. Vip Style vacation was beyond great and extremely helpful. The reservation was a breeze and as we added more people to our group they were able to change our reservations with out a problem to accommodate more people joining us. Once at the hotel, the service is amazing and we were treated sooo good. The resort was huge, by far the most beautiful resort ever!!! The suites were spacious. We were literally a few steps away from the pool and beach... The pools, the beds, jacuzzis, the beaches, restaurants are exquisite, clean and were beyond our expectations...We felt so special and absolutely loved being treated like VIP. it was an amazing experience, and we are definitely going back next year. My room was great and I had a beautiful view of the resort from one balcony and the ocean from the other. My room was cleaned every day and my refrigerator stocked with water and beer. Gina at the bar in the lobby will take great care of you! Shuttle service around the resort was great and all the drivers were friendly and gracious. Restuarants were fabulous and food was great. Beaches are beautiful and bars were always great service.

Alex was very accommodating in his service and everything we were promised was delivered. The presidential suites we fantastic. Very high spacious and well kept. Their bar, restaurant, and pool area are very relaxing and less crowded than other areas we visited on the resort.
Having been to the Caribbean many times, I can tell you that their air conditioning in the room is far and away better than any we've experienced. Typically it is governed to a certain temperature, and our experience is that it is not a comfortable temperature. You won't have that problem here. Not to mention the beds are very comfortable as well.
The VIP beeches are heaven. Serenity Beech is absolutely Paradise. -

We rented a 3 bedroom villa at Lhvc in September. The home was very nice. It was gated with a personal pool and a nice view of the ocean from the master bedroom. The grounds were beautiful and well landscaped. We stayed in one of the older villas and while we had some mechanical issues, the resort was quick to get someone out to service the problems we experienced. The golf cart was a nice to have given the size of the resort. It was like having your own personal car. It was also nice having someone coming to the villa to pamper you with breakfast daily. The all inclusive fee was reasonable, my only concern was that we could not get access to all the restaurants available at the resort. It would have been nice to be able to book the restaurants ahead of time so we could have experienced all the cuisine. When making the arrangements for our stay, Alex with VIP Style vacations was extremely helpful and responsive in answering my questions. Overall my vacation was very relaxing and enjoyable. I would definitely visit the Dominican Republic again and would definitely book with VIP Style Vaations again.

I had a beautiful suite with an Ocean view full balcony jacuzzi tub ..all amenities stocked refrigerator and fresh fruit/meats app plates daily.. I gotta tell you I have worked in L.A. And Miami ,Fla. top restraints and clubs ,but this resort has it going on from bistro to sushi to 5 star dinner and service...and comfort foods 24/7... Do not even get me started on the bars ,pubs,clubs, patio...You know when you are on vacation you always have to wip out a cc or $$...but this is all inclusive takes that hassle out worry free time to enjoy. Well what I liked least was having to leave and say goodbye kinda made some friends...so with that being said hope you enjoy enough to buy. ...I did !!! Iric P. Cincinnati Ohio USa

I Rented a 4 bedroom villa from alex and VIP Style Vacation I traveled with my wife 3 teanage children and 3 of their friends and we had a great time. The resort grounds were very nice and the restaurants were excellent
and the villa was spacious and clean.The breakfast served in the villa every morning was not only delicious but a great relaxing way to start the day,we all loved rolling out of our beds and having a great meal prepared by our maid in our own kitchen waiting for us. The VIP beach was beautiful and clean, we all loved the beds and the waiter service. But believe it or not one of the best things about this vacation was booking it with alex, I was a little hesitant to rent from an owner and not directly with the resort but he was great to deal with, everything he promised me he delivered and more. On the day we arrived there was a minor issue with the villa and I emailed alex and he called me immediately and had me give my cell phone to the person checking us in and resolved the issue he also exchanged emails with me during my stay to make sure me and my family were having a good time I would recomend alex and VIP Style Vacation to friends and family. We enjoyed going to Ocean World and my children and their friends all swam with the dolphins. The VIP welcome party on sunday night cannot be missed it was fabulous. We received excellent service at the hotel and also on the resort.
The home was very impressive especially with the jacuzzi and the very nice furniture. The rooms were very spacious, clean and we enjoyed the very large balcony.
The location was perfect and very close to all the amenities.
What we like the best was the food and the staff they were all willing to help you with whatever problem we encountered.
The welcoming party was out of this world. I never seen anything like that before. The buffet was unbelievable.
What we liked the least was the Indian restaurant food. It wasn't our taste of food. Tooo spicy for our liking.
I don't belive it is a good idea for everyones key to fit everyones golf cart.
We had our golf cart stolen. We had to take transportation home.

the success of our vacation is largely due to alex from VIP vacations. Everything from our airport Trasfers to our villa was booked through him, and things were seamless and effortless. That was not the case with some other guests that has used someone else to arrange their vacation.
Alex had arranged for a Helicopter to fly us to the resort. But the guys were putting our luggage in the shuttle and told us to wait.. Ok - then it became clear, he escorted us to another part of the airport where we went through a small security area and our Helicopter was waiting for us. Very exciting. Upon landing at the Helicopter pad, a lovely young girl in a golf cart was waiting for us and whisked us immediately to the VIP check in. No lines, No waiting. We were assigned a villa, brought there where our luggage was waiting for us, and given a package with details of the resort.
The outside of the villa was beautiful - our private pool, patio, grassy area, and right in front of the beach. Our golf cart arrived shortly thereafter, and it was hysterical.. Much like driving Mario Cart - but so much fun!
There was not one single area of this resort that was not clean. The people are sweeping constantly. Everyone we came into contact with was pleasant, respectful and smiling.. This was probably the most important thing to me, as we were traveling with our teenage daughter and her comfort and safety was vital. The beaches were amazing, especially Harmony and Serenity Beaches.. We are not beach people, but we were at both of these beaches every day. Hard to stay away from someplace that they wipe the sand of your giant beach pillow and bring you food and drink and your every whim. Our daughter preferred the buffets where she could get a burger or pizza and that was fine with us. the food, even at the buffets was cooked very well, and we were happy. We are looking forward to working with alex in the near future, planning another wonderful vacation. -

I want to start by saying renting from alex and the VIP team what a pleasant experience. He accommodated all our our needs and even called us at the resort to make sure things were perfect! The villa it self was absolutely gorgeous, aside from the rain we had for a few days, it was a picture perfect vacation! The food at the resort was also very good! I recommend making reservations to the restaurants the food there is much better then the buffets! We took advantage of the ocean world tickets which were provided and had the most wonderful day! I def recommend doing that! We had breakfast prepared for us every morning and relaxed next to our own pool all day, we had personal bottle service and a maid! Overall I give this experience 2 thumbs up! I am certainly telling my friends and family!

My son and I stayed at this resort from February 17 to March 2, 2012. Our shuttle was waiting for us at the airport on our arrival and promptly took us to the resort. Check in was a breeze and within 30 minutes of arriving at the resort we were in our room. The room was decent and spacious. We were in the Tropical section and if we looked out our balcony we were in front of the main pool.
Our two weeks at the resort went by very quickly. We went to a number of restaurants but the Mexican was our favorite. The staff at the resort treated us very well and in particular treated my 8 year old son especially well.
If you like to snooze in the afternoon probably where our room was is not a good location for you. In the late afternoon and some evenings the entertainment at the main pool can get a little loud but for us it did not make a difference.
Some periods of the day hot water is an issue whether there was too much of it or not enough. I found the morning showers had enough hot water and enough pressure.
This is a huge resort and I am certain there were areas where we didn't explore. We will definitely go back to this resort as the staff treated us like family and left us wanting to come back again.

Our family just had a memorable vacation here at Lifestyles. When we checked into our 4 BR Villa - the ocean view was amazing and was one of the highlights of the vacation! Inside, the villa was beautiful, spacious and clean. The breakfast service every day was wonderful. Our housekeeper and cook was friendly and made each of us exactly what we wanted. The pool was lovely and uur gardener was warm and friendly. Although I had read some horrible reviews about this place - none of them were true. However it is important to note that renting through a shareholder (like alex) and having a gold band does make a difference at this resort. Because of our gold VIP status we had access to almost every beach. Our favorites were Harmony and Serenity. Overall the service was excellent from the beach help and bartenders to the staff at the restaurants. In terms of dining/drinks the snack bar/bar at Harmony was our favorite - great drinks and really good lunch choices, plus an ice cream bar. The best buffet was the Pearl. It had many options so that all of us, found something we liked, and the service was good. For dinner, our favorite and by far the best meal was at Blue Lagoon!!! The VIP Gourmet restaurant was also wonderful; The Italian restaurant was so so. On the last night we had a great BBQ at our villa which was part of our upgrade. The Sunday night welcome party/buffet was no great shakes. The food was so so, and the entertainment is pretty loud. We also signed up for a couple of local attractions - the horseback riding with Miguel into the countryside was a great value and trip for the whole family. The trip into Puerta Plata was okay - the rum factory tour was the highlight. Try to avoid the big sell they try to do on the first day it is a waste of time. Oceanworld is owned by Lifestyles and tickets for entry was included. Although expensive the dolphin encounter was worth it. All in all a great vacation and we would come back!

Firstly, our owner/rep., Alex, delivered above and beyond the call of duty. Everything went like clock-work! Top floor,ocean view,beautiful presidential suite. Airport pick-up/delivery,on queue. Housekeeper,Sylvia,and support staff were amazing! Front desk seemed a little overwhelmed due to frustrations of some guests getting bumped, but otherwise they did a great job. Enjoyed most of the restaurants we tried,but service at Jazz,plus food quality sucked. Again, kudos to alex!!! He made it happen again. Cathy/Rick Salai,Edmonton,Alberta.

We have been to this resort for the past 3 years and enjoyed our stay and the service. This year we booked online through this site and it provided us with a vacation beyond what we have experienced with our other visits. They gave us upfront what we should expect and went well beyond those commitments. We stayed this year in the Presidental Suites and we requested a two bedroom suite with full deluxe bathrooms, tubs, hugh walk in showers. Full Kitchen with Stainless steel applicances and granite countertops. Our shared living room consisted of uptodate furnishing's, flat screen 50 " TV and three balcony's., and internet in our suite. Everything that was promised to us was fulfilled. The resort is well named by calling it VIP as that is how you are greeted from the day you arrive till the day you leave. The restaurants are wonderful and you could not get a nicer meal in any top restaurant in the U.S. or Canada. I started by day by going to the gym where it was air conditioned with very good equipment and a good selection of machines to use.The beaches were beautiful and our favorite part of the day was when we left the beach to come back to get ready to go out to the different restaurants in the evening. Whether we were going to the VIP Gourmet or a more casual restaurant we found the experience and the food wonderful. The staff are exceptional and the only regret we had was the day we had to leave to come hone. I would recommend this resort and booking through this site and have already booked our return trip for 2013.

We booked our family Christmas vacation through alex and VIP Style Vacation. He was great to work with and promptly responded to any and all questions, either via e-mail or phone. We stayed in the Presidential Suites section of the Lifestyles Holiday Vacation Club and were not disappointed with any part of our vacation. The suites looked exactly like they did in all of the pictures. There was plenty of space for all of us. We had a 1 BR and 2 BR suite. The resort is fairly big but we quickly found that we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. By booking through an owner, we were given blue wristbands and were able to book all of our dinner reservations on the first day that we checked in. We also received 30% off Spa services and 2 of our party played a 9 hole round of golf. I highly recommend VIP Style Vacation to anyone who wants to visit Puerto Plata.

Booked through alex at VIP Style Vacation and got a great rate on the room - all inclusive fees are due at check in through the airport. Airport pick up was a bit crowded / run down. Smooth check-in except not given king bed as promised. Gorgeous Presidential Suite in a quiet part of resort. Well maintained grounds and pools. Vip beach area only open 9-5 which is sad, but great service and gorgeous views! Restaurants are iffy - Jazz and Simply Gourmet are the best with drinkable wine and liquor, and buffet is actually not bad but busy. Bars were great. Since it's a vacation club, you have to deal with pushy salespeople the first few days you are there - called and woke us up the first morning to see when we would eat breakfast, tried to take us on the free tour, told them no then told them we'd already done it (had read reviews and knew it was to get us to sales tower for "the pitch.") then supervisor tried several times as well. Just stick to your guns if you're not interested. Lots of great excursions - costly through the resort, possible to get better deal from beach reps but questionable reliability. I recommend the funny buggies, mountain horseback riding, and paradise island (be warned, 2 hour bus drive both ways!). Tipping is welcome throughout resort so bring lots of dollar bills. Skip the airport exchange, use aTM or resort exchange for best rates. Taxis through the resort are available but expensive. Service is good for the most part, but if you plan on sleeping in, don't expect to have your room cleaned or refrigerator restocked. Staff much more concerned about the members obviously since it is a vacation club, so don't be surprised. Tons of extras and benefits for members and Vips, not so much for the common man (i.e. cheap carribean). But we had a blast and made tons of memories!!!

This was the for sure a 10 star resort if there ever could be a 10 star. The resort is exactly the same as the pictures on the web site. We were treated like a queen. The best value for your dollar. I will go back in a heart beat.

I have travelled quite a bit for business and pleasure and I must say this was the best vacation ever. The resort, the service and the food were amazing. We were 3 couples together and rented a villa through an owner, Alex Yevsyutin. Everything he had promissed was delivered and more. Renting through an owner is the way to go. Our villa was beautiful, our maids Patricia and Ruth cooked us breakfast every morning and took care of all our needs with beautiful smiles. The VIP beach is outstanding and the waiters catered to our every wish. They make you feel like millionnaires. We went to the presentation and chose not to become members this time around. We would definitely recommend this resort and we are already planning our vacation next year.

We very much enjoyed our week stay at VIP Vacation - Lifestyle Holidays. Prompt service. The accomodation is modern, clean and it is ideal for family with children and friends. The pool is great, regularly cleaned.Our old baby was give a nice little bed. The food was excellent not to mention the gourmet restaurant, which we visited a couple times. The resort is awesome throughout and even more that you can expect.
Great stay. Will come again. -

We stayed at 1 bedroom suite, check-in was quick and easy, room was clean with fridge stuffed with beer/water every day, food was good, VIP Gourmet resto is our best, Blue Lagoon and Indochine are nice, Italian not worth visit.
Vip beach - amazing place to relax on comfy beds with drinks and food served there its a place to spend your day. Entertainment good. Vip Welcome Party was a blast! Great experience, worth every penny. Highly recommended, we already planning next year villa reunion with friends. -

Good service at restraunts and bars. Drinks are very good especially at the vip beach.
We stayed at this resort twice as guest members and both times we enjoyed the vip beach the most.

I stayed in a junior suite at the hotel section. I was guest of a "gold member" but somehow wore a 'blue' wrist band. None the less it did not prevent me from absorbing the penultimate service the staff lavished me with. Drinks were great, food scrumptious, plentiful and home made. Andchoice of activities were everywhere to be found on the thousand acre waterside site, night & day. And I especially enjoyed the international flavour of people from all corners of the globe who frequented VIP's unique lifestyle concept.
I would recommend this uniqu vacation to closest friends and look forward to my next truly zen inspired vacation there. -

Read the good/bad/ugly before we booked,so went open-minded. Pickup at airport was as described. Check-in was a breeze. Room was updated,cleaning staff was phenominal. We stayed in #1202 with wraparound deck,incredible views! Alacarte were above normal,with the exception of Mexican (glorified Taco Bell). Booked our excursions on the beach (cheaper).7 waterfalls is a must! All staff were great,as was the talent. The only aggravating part was the salesman, doing their pitch.
