Truly a vacation filled with excellent service from beginning to end; the friendliest staff we've encountered anywhere; great food in all restaurants; requests answered quickly! What you see in the advertised pictures is exactly what you get! We felt like royalty - having every whim catered to without question or delay! Spending 15 days in a 3 bedroom villa with breakfast prepared in house daily, stepping outdoors and slipping into our own backyard pool which was cleaned daily, having your personal concierge visit you each morning to inquire about your needs / wants for the day and booking all your evening al a carte restaurant reservations, having quality drinks delivered to your door ... who could ask for anything more??? and how can you go back to anything less for your next vacation??? The extra $200 cost for VIP service ($50 per person per week) was the best money ever spent ... so little gave us so much ... the added VIP perks far outweighed the small cost!!! The helicopter and limousine shuttles were right up there on the excitement chart!!! We are forever spoiled and will expect nothing less on our next trip! Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Resort truly knows how to do their part in making your vacation fabulous and memorable! and they know how to throw great parties - both the Thursday and Sunday night parties will be talked about by us for years! We stayed in the Presidential Suites. Top notch accomodations. It worked really great as we had an adult son who had his own bedroom/bathroom and then we shared the living room/kitchen. As well we had our own privat balcony. Lots of space for everyone! The dinners were fantastic. We were at a different restaurant every night. Good variety. It was like going to a high end restaurant every night. I never keen on breakfasts at resorts but I will say they had good fruit every day and offered custom made omlettes. The best part of the day was going to get 'Cold Stone' like ice cream. Delicious!
I might have liked more activities but for R&R; the resort offered a variety of pools and beach locations to relax at for the day -

We stayed in the Presidential Suites, which are very roomy apartments. The staff were very professional, friendly and accommodating. There are many sections to this resort but it is easy to get around and avail your self of the many amenities. There are many beaches and they are all well kept with lots of lounges, chairs and umbrellas.

Stayed IN THE Royal Suites Through Lifestyle Holiday Vacations Resort, Accommodations Were Spacious, Elegantly Decorated aND Clean. Housekeeping Services Were Exceptional. Received Regular attention From Hotel Staff,Found Them Very Friendly, Knowledgeable aND attentive. Found THE Resort Restaurants TO BE OF THE Highest Quality. Beautiful Presentation OF aLL Courses OF Meals With Excellent Portion Sizes aND Elegant Presentation, Many a La Carte Restaurants TO Chose From. Several Bars Throughout Resort Complex TO access. Something FOR Everyone. Most Impressed With THE Several High END Beaches aND Pool areas With attached Restaurants aND BaR areas. We travelled to the DR with a large group of family members (6 families) for Christmas and New Years. Each family stayed in their own Presidential Suite.
The rooms were huge and had everything we needed - safe, fridge stocked with water, beer, cheese and fruit platters, multiple bathrooms (which was great when sharing with multiple family members), TV and internet. The cleaning lady assigned to our room was fantastic, friendly and didn't have any problems cleaning up after our 2 adult sons, who really enjoyed the bars and entertainment.
The resort had a special New Years and Christmas Eve party just beside Serenity Beach. They had gigantic tents set up for the buffet, which included everything that you could possible want to eat. There was live entertainment that was fantastic, as well as a DJ playing tunes late into the evening. Of course, all the beverages were included as well. We had a great time.
Most evenings we ate at a VIP restaurant, which varied from okay to great. We didn't like Simply Gourmet, but all the others were quite enjoyable - especially azul. Our group of 22 people had to wait for quite a while to get served, but that was due to the sheer number of people we had. Service was always good, except for the local Presidential Suites buffet. There, we typically arrived later for breakfast, and had to wait for a while for tables to be cleaned and set.
We spent a few days at Serenity Beach, which was wonderful and had huge lounge beds, bar service and snack bar. The rest of the time was spent at the Presidential Suites pool, which was also really nice. At both places, someone needed to get up a little early to save enough spots for our group. Make sure to have ice cream every day at Scoops at Harmony Beach - it was heaven!

We were privileged to stay in a luxurious Villa with our friends. I would recommend staying in a Villa here with friends because of the intimate atmosphere in "your home" while staying on the resort, while still enjoying the amenities of the resort. We enjoyed many hours around our outside dining table together or lounging around the pool. The Villa was well-stocked daily, but we also had the option to go get "take out" and bring it back to our private place when we wanted.
The beaches and restaurants were tended by servers who seemed happy to provide attention to customer services. Staff were always friendly and smiling -Dominicans have beautiful smiles :) It was not a problem for us to find a cabana on Serenity Beach- although we did go earlier in the morning to ensure that we could get one close to the water. When we went to Harmony Beach one afternoon and were looking for lounges, an attendant quickly spied us and retrieved and set them up exactly where we wanted- half sun and half shade.
Each evening we enjoyed a different restaurant, but had to go to our favourite, Azul's, twice. There is a great variety of places to eat and we could always find something to tempt us for a late lunch.
We had great fun taking turns driving the 6-man golf cart to get around but also enjoyed walking around the resort. Lots of security around to make us feel safe and welcome.
Pam and John worked with resort staff to ensure that details were worked out for a perfect vacation for us.
