This is an absolutely beautiful 1 BDRM, 1 BATH, condo that sleeps four on beachfront property with an unobstructed ocean view, at the exclusive 5-star Portofino Resort. Portofino is adjacent to beautiful Marina Vallarta and its Restaurant Row! Directly across the street is an 18 hole championship golf course and next door is the Marriott Casa Magna resort.

If you are seeking luxurious comfort, security and privacy with a very romantic atmosphere where you can either enjoy the beach, lounge within manicured grounds with a one acre swimming pool; visit Marriott's Casa Magna Resort next door; or just walk one block to wonderful restaurants..., bars and other entertainment at the Marina, then look no further!

The Portofino Resort is conveniently located just one mile from the P.V. International Airport , 1 mile from the harbor and the Galleria Shopping Mall, and is only five miles from downtown P.V. with its El Centro activity zone, scores of great restaurants, hundreds of art and jewelry shops, the famous beautiful Malecon (seawall) and many great tourist activities. The city of P.V. is very safe to walk around day/night and prides itself in having excellent seafood, international cuisine and The World's Friendliest People according to the 2012 International Tourism Survey. P.V. is also a haven for Expats with over 60,000 U.S. and Canadian full-time residents. Speaking English here is no problem.

The Portofino Resort is truly one of the finest full-ownership condo properties in P.V. The resort is only 6 years old, is excellently maintained and the resort and surrounding neighborhood is very safe and protected by security gate access and a full-time security staff.

The condo is on the 5th Floor and enjoys a commanding south view of the ocean and resort property. A private gym is conveniently located close by on the 4th Floor. Our one acre pool has a separate large spa and the property also boasts tennis and basketball courts. The condo has a peaceful and serene fully furnished covered patio where you can enjoy romantic sunsets while sipping a margarita. Besides the private bedroom, the living room has a combination couch and queen-sized bed. There is a full kitchen, dining area, a laundry, and a 42" flat screen TV with CD stereo, DVD player in the living room, as well as phone/Internet, and cable TV service. The entire residence is decorated and furnished in a Tommie Bahama Mexican-Carribean motif with custom made furniture, colorful paintings and hand made artwork.

We have traveled all over the world and this resort property is one of our very favorite places to decompress, dine on great international cuisine, meet engaging people and to have a wonderful, romantic time. This is an excellent choice for honeymoons, celebrating anniversaries and just getting away for a short vacation. If you like to fish, some of the BEST fishing in Mexico is right here, with Marina Vallarta and its many sports fishing charters literally next door!

Our beach is outstanding for sunset weddings or the renewal of vows and afterwards celebrate your nuptuals by dining at one of several of the best restaurants in all of PV at Marina Vallarta!

If you are a golfer, an 18-hole championship golf course with country club is right across the street. The PV transit bus picks you up right in front of Portofino and for $6.5 pesos will take you into El Centro which is only 5 miles away. Cab fare will run you about $80 pesos. Portofino is conveniently located near the airport and our property manager will pick you up and introduce you to the property without charge. If you drive there is plenty of private parking on the grounds.

Portofino offers a Business Center and a wonderful poolside full bar snack bar where you can munch on burgers and sandwickes and all type of sodas and adult beverages delivered right to your lounge chair at the pool.

  We had the most wonderful time in this beautiful condo with the most gorgeous view. We walked to the marina for breakfast. We went on several day trips to ziplining and shopping downtown and walking along the malecon. We enjoyed fabulous dinners and relaxed in the comfortable patio or by the pool or on the remarkably clean beach. It was a supercalifraglisticexpialidocious vacation!

  Great service, beautiful condo, comfortable, quiet, best view you can ask for. Very close to just about everything, walking distance to the marina and golf, private beach right in front

  Home away from Home

  From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home in this beautiful condo overlooking the pool and beach. The place literally has everything you need to make it through a week (or a month) in Mexico, hassle free. Full kitchen with all appliances, cookware and glasses. Two Tv's with cable and also a stereo (90.3 is a great radio station!). The location is also perfect, as you can literally walk to the marina in five minutes, where there are over 30 different restaurants, stores, and activities to be had. The condo is also a quick and easy 5 - 10 minute cab ride to the center of town (for only about 80 pesos or less). So it's close enough to the action if you want to take in that scene, but far enough away if you are really looking to just get away from it all. For those of you who want to stay connected, condo comes compete with high speed internet and wifi as well (I am actually typing this review from the condo right now!)
  
  We spent our evenings with margaritas in hand enjoying perfect sunsets every night from our beautiful private balcony. Pool side bar service and food are available if you want it, but you can also pack your own cooler for the day if you like.
  
  Instead of paying excessive amounts to stay at a resort or hotel, this condo provides you with all of the amenities at much less cost. Just grab a cab to Walmart and stock up on the necessities (agua, cervesa, tequila, some food, snacks, etc) and you'll find yourself feeling like your at home.

  Comfort and relaxation in paradise!!!

  My vacation at the Portofino condo was amazing!!! From the moment that my friends and I arrived we felt like we had entered the world of luxury. The condo was only steps away from the beach and not only had an ocean view, but a long coastal view as well. We were able to see downtown Puerto Vallarta from our balcony!!! It was so beautiful. The condo itself was also gorgeous. The interior was beautifully furnished with a tropical theme (completely appropriate), it was clean, and had more than enough room for my friends and I to sleep and lounge around comfortably. I must admit however, that we did not spend much time inside. There was a bus stop right outside the front of the condo that took us to downtown, and the harbor was within walking distance of the condo. The harbor was so full of life and good food with its many different restaurants and bars. It was truly an amazing trip and I cannot wait to go again. I would definitely stay at the Portofino condo again and i highly recommend it to anyone wanting comfort and relaxation in paradise!!
