Located in the most sought after area in all of Vallarta! Where the mountains kiss the ocean! Ocean on one side, jungle covered mountains on the other. Located half way between Old Town and Mismaloya Beach, you will find the beach quite private. Many times, not a soul except a few local fisherman or flocks of pelicans diving for their lunch. Yet, the bustle of Vallarta with it's cobble stone streets, hundreds of fine restaurants and night clubs is about 10 minutes away and easily accessible by public bus (which stops right in front of the condo) or by an affordable taxi. There is really no need to rent a car.

We stayed for just 3 nights in Casa amor and found it to be beautiful and well appointed. It has been very nicely, recently remodeled and the interior is lovely. There is a long, but somewhat narrow, balcony with table and seating. The condo is on the 7th floor which allows for great views of the entire bay, and if it were any closer to the beach it would be in the ocean. There is a nice pool with loungers which was not busy at all. It is in a quiet area which suited us, but if you want more action nearby or want to be walking distance from 'Old Town' it might not suit you.

Thank you so much for your review and for staying with me! You are absolutely correct, this is not for people who want the craziness of the city. It's for people who want to enjoy a quiet beach, quiet complex and be RIGHT on the ocean but can go10 minutes into town for all the action either via taxi or by public bust which stops directly in front. Casa amor is true ocean front living. With the beach right below and a fabulous view of the whole bay, it's hard to find any part of the day that isn't wonderful here. We fall asleep to the sound of the waves and the first thing we see when we open our eyes (not even out of bed yet) is the ocean. While relaxing on the deck we enjoy watching the giant sea turtles, whales (in season), dolphins, sailfish, manta rays,...and... too many fish to name. The pelicans and frigate birds swoop by the deck at eye level and the sunsets are gorgeous. Downstairs, we walk on the beach with the egrets, sandpipers, herons ...and...too many birds to name. We have even seen a turtle nesting!
It's hard to believe that all the bustle, shopping, dining and night life of Puerto Vallarta are only 10 minutes away. The bus goes by every 15 minutes and will stop right out front, or the security guard will call a taxi for you.
Casa amor is very clean and spacious. It is well equipped with modern appliances, the beds are comfortable, and the entertainment system is great, and it has air conditioning. It is in a small, clean and very safe building. There is a security guard on duty 24 hour a day and the reception staff very friendly and helpful. Susan and Jesus (Chuy) are lovely people and they keep Casa amor very well maintained.
We love it here so much that we have already booked for next year!

Weve stayed here twice and we can't wait to go back. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Puerto Vallarta. It sits on a very nice beach away from all the hustle and bustle of the city, yet it's only a few minutes away. The unit is beautiful and fully stocked with everything you need-The bus stops right out in front (60 pesos to anywhere) so we went into town daily, but couldn't wait to return "home". It's the best place in the world to relax- bring your laptop, a good book and you'll never want to leave the condo except to try all the great (and affordable) places to eat in Puerto Vallarta. I just can't say enough great things about our trips to Casa amour...Wonderful

What a fabulous condo to stay in. It was decorated beautifully with everything you need including a stereo system w/ a variety of music to play. The view of the ocean, Los arcos, and the town of Puerto Vallarta are outstanding. My favorite part is sitting on the balcony, enjoying my coffee, or cocktail and looking straight down into the ocean at all the various sea life, especially the sting rays. The sunsets are unsurpassed. It was like staying in a 5 Star resort with the privacy of being at home. Loved it! I can't wait to go back. I would highly recommend Casa amor to anyone!

I usually visit Puerto Vallarta once, if not twice, a year. Ever since I found Casa amor I've looked no further for accommodations. This beautiful exclusive beachfront location is beyond your expectations. The breathtaking view from the inside of the condo and balcony of the entire bay, as well as, Los arcos is fabulous. Watching the sunsets from your balcony are truly magnificent. This unit is contemporary in style while keeping a touch of old Mexico.
The property has 24 hour gated security, quiet surroundings, beautiful heated pool, and easy access to the private beach. We have been delighted to see dolphins, whales and other aquatic creatures that always keep us in awe.
The interior of the condo is fully updated with gorgeous appointments. The minute you walk in you feel right at home. This condo is located just a short 10-15 minute ride to the Romatic Zone, our favorite place to hang out. The restaurants are too many to chose from.
The condo has an elevator and stairway with a Mexican flare decor. Casa amor is truly the place to stay with the best views, most beautiful interior decor, surround sound system even on the balcony. The kitchen is fully equipped and we love to cook a few meals while there.

I had gone for the last 6 years. It´s just amazing how can you find an excellent place to have fun and relax at the same time. The appartment is comfortable and it has the best view of the bahia. From this place you can see dolphins at the moorning, or maybe you prefer to see a good sunset just in front of your room.
The beach is perfect, you can wake up at the moorning, and have a swim to start the day.
It is not in downtown, but is near, so you can forget all that traffic that you always have in your city, and just relax in front of a great sunset at your window.Response from Susan Hagen - 12/08/2010

From the very entrance Casa amor was wonderful. Chuy and Susan (owners of the place) gave us such a warm welcome, explaining all the places that we could visit and giving us a lot of tips to move around. The place is beautiful; kitchen is spacious, clean and has all the necessary utensils for your vacation in PV. Both rooms are sooo comfortable having ac/fan/dim lighting, etc. Living room was great for relaxing, and the spacious balcony is beautiful for having breakfast or a glass of wine at sun set.
Overall I truly recommend Casa amor, my friends and I had a wonderful time. The condo is truly comfortable; the pool is very nice and leads right to the beach. It was more than expected and will definitely stay there again :)
One recommendation, it´s easier to move around Puerto Vallarta if you rent a car, or else you have to move by taxi or bus; which by the way wasn't difficult, bus goes by very often and is very cheap. The wonderful people at the front desk can help with all those details.
By staying at Casa amor, you will definitely have a great time in Puerto Vallarta!
