We have rented this condo for 2 years and the owner Katya alvarez, has been wonderful to deal with. The fruit basket and welcome letter was a surprise and was appreciated very much, as was the champagne for our son & new daughter-in-law who got married in PV. Her property manager, Marcos, was very prompt in addressing any little problem that came up and was a most pleasant young man.
The condo itself is very comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen has most everything needed to prepare meals easily, there are plenty of linens for all the beds, the necessities are supplied to start you off on your vacation, ie. toilet paper, soap etc, the deck with it's gorgeous view has lots of chairs for eating & lounging.
The location of this condo is perfect - halfway between the Marina district and downtown - a 45 minutes walk to each or if you prefer the bus, it's right outside the complex and most every one is headed into town. There are 4 stores for groceries within an easy walk - 2 x Sorianas, Walmart & Costco, 2 movie theatres, a Mall, the Fish Market, Plaza - and restaurants - no need to take taxis, get your exercise!!
There are a number of pools for swimming, ranging from warm to very cool, a pool restaurant, friendly staff and great people who come to stay - we have made many friends.
The sunsets are spectacular, great people & dog watching on the public beach and the Oasis restaurant right beside has good tortilla soup, shrimp burritos & coconut shrimp.

We certainly enjoyed our one week stay at the Grand Venetian apartment in Puerto Vallarta.
The service was excellent. Katya alvarez, the owner, made the reservation for us and gave us very detailed instructions on how to check in and about the available services. Marcos, the English speaking concierge who greeted us at the lobby provided us with a very good description of the gated compound and the apartment itself, and kept in touch with us through the whole week. Even after we left, when we forgot a piece of luggage, Marcos was nice enough to fetch it and have it sent to us.
The apartment, stylishly furnished in a modern, minimalistic style, is very well equipped and was immaculately clean. The view of the bay from its spacious open plan living space is worth the whole trip. Down below, the extensive ground areas of the complex, right next to the beach and which include three large pools and a huge jacuzzi, are very well maintained and quite pretty. Even on the week before Christmas, the pool areas were not at all crowded, with plenty of available lawn chairs the whole day.
The complex itself is very well located within the town of Puerto Vallarta. Excellent shopping is just a few blocks away, and downtown Puerto Vallarta is just 10 minutes away by taxi. The downside of its great location is a somewhat noisy neighborhood on weekend nights.
The town of Puerto Vallarta is quite beautiful and safe, with a fantastic walking-only beach-side boulevard full of things to see and places to eat and drink. Its weather, food and sunsets, along with its overall ambiance, are the best.
Finally, we also took a five hour skippered private ski boat trip into the bay. The boat is also owned by Katya. We had fun skiing early in the morning, and then watched whales and dolphins, all at our leisure on our own private boat.
We certainly recommend this experience to anyone interested in a fun, relaxed week in the sun.

This is very nice condo located in a high end private condo development. The condo is nicely furnished and equipped and has a wonderful ocean front view from the eleventh floor. The owner is readily available and accommodating whenever anything s needed.

We received wonderful prompt service from the Property Manager and staff at the Grand Venetian. The unit is clean and comfortable, well equiped with great views of the beach.
The location is great, just a short walk to the shopping centre, Costco WalMart and Starbucks.
My husband and I like to walk so we would walk to the Malacon, come back for a swim at one of the four heated pools.
