We had a group of couples; 16 people in total and rented the entire Villa azul. Being mid 20's and having previously only stayed at hostels or budget accommodation staying in Villa azul was our splurge. We were completely taken away by the spectacular views and the size of the Villa and spacious rooms. Manager and chef David looked after us so well, catering to all our dietary requirements and providing amazing dishes for us (his guacamole is the best we've ever had). Assistant chef angel and housekeeper Lola we extremely helpful and did a brilliant job maintaining the property. The swim-up pool bar was great, especially when heated. Its a short taxi ride into town or to the beach; strolling around the Conchas Chinas neighborhood is very pretty but the cobblestones can be tough on your feet. The view of the sunset over the water was incredible. I would highly recommend this property to couples or groups of friends travelling together.

Villa azul is an awesome place to spend a week in Mexico! Beautiful house, roomy bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms, safe and secure neighborhood, and, most importantly, a professional and courteous staff that was out of this world! Our group of 5 women had a fabulous time and really enjoyed our chef David. We would highly recommend this location to any group traveling to sunny PV. This place would be great for kids too, as the pool was fabulous and allowed us to spend a great deal of enjoyable time at the Villa. Only draw back is the long walk up hill, but then again everything in PV is a walk up the hill! We simply walked down hill to get into town and then used a taxi to get back home each time. Also, some of the bathrooms did not have hot water all of the time, so we were forced to take cold showers occasionally. No big deal- it's Mexico- you have to expect a few "glitches" every now and then. Overall, great place- can't wait to go back and would definitely consider renting from Vallarta Shores company again!

Our family just had a wonderful vacation in Puerto Vallarta where we spent a week at Villa azul. We would like to share our amazing time at Villa azul.
Villa azul is a perfect place for vacation with your family and /or friends. Its 8 rooms and 3 heated pools can either be rented as a whole unit or can be in 3 units with separate entrances, is ideal for both privacy and extended family, as well as interaction depends on when and what you want.
Villa azul is beyond expectations where meals are customized by the talented Chef David. You would just give Chef David the general idea of what you want and please watch out, you may be served with a fancy 5-course-sample dinner worth of a royal family. Let Chef David surprise you, you never get disappointed even for breakfast or lunch.
Villa azul also offers an incomparable experience. Whether you lie on the comfortable lounge chair to read or sit on the large deck watching whales (yes! We spotted whales!), whether you dine or swim, the spectacular view from Villa azul surround you and thrills you of beautiful nature can be.
A fast Wi-Fi internet connection, along with a complimentary auto; coupled with a professional staff that is there when needed and goes out of it way make you feel comfortable.

Wow! What a wonderful place, as soon as you walk through the door you realize you have arrived at the ultimate in luxury living. We stayed here with 3 other couples and we enjoyed dining together, but as spacious as this Villa is, everyone was also able to enjoy alone time.
The staff was very attentive, and treated us like royalty. It was only a 5 minute cab ride to the heart of Puerto Vallarta's "Old Town", with all of its fabulous culture and night life. I highly recommend this Villa for large families, groups, and reunions. We can't wait to come back again. It doesn't get much better than this! -

The house is huge and there are many areas for different groups to gather and relax. The kitchen is great and there is a huge dining table with a view. There are several pools and some of the showers have views of the bay. The furniture is nice. There is a stereo, wifi, sat tv. The walk down to the beach is about 10 minutes. Take a cab back. We had some plumbing issues and the service could have been more friendly, but overall it is a great place for a large group.
