Villa Savana, formerly known as Villa Merissa, is a very private 10 bedroom, 14,000 sq.ft., romantic hillside hideaway, designed especially for comfort and privacy. Nestled between downtown Vallarta and the backdrop of lush tropical jungle this villa is perfect for those who wish to divert from traditional hotels, for the luxury of complete privacy and pampering by your own private staff, including your own personal chef.

We pride ourselves on our unparalleled location, spectacular views, spacious accommodation, great facilities, personal service and private candlelit dinner parties with sumptuously prepared high quality cuisine.

... Our 10 bedrooms are spacious and individually decorated in traditional Mexican style. All beds have feather down European style comforters with all-white, high-count cotton bedding. All rooms are individually air-conditioned and each has a lock up box for your valuables. Even if you do not reserve all 10 rooms for your stay, you will have exclusive private use of the villa less the rooms not reserved. 8 rooms have en suite bathrooms. 2 rooms share a bathroom. All bathrooms have large, all-tiled, showers/tubs.

From our unique, hillside location, Villa Savana offers unbelievable, panoramic views of the entire bay of Banderas and over 30 miles of lush coastline. Our proximity to town also ensures breathtaking views over the quaint town of Puerto Vallarta with its red roofed casitas by day and twinkling lights and firework extravaganzas by night. Our unmatched hillside location offers convenient access to all amenities while our elevation ensures privacy, spectacular views and tropically refreshing breezes.

Villa Savana is uniquely blessed with both glorious sunrises from the tropical mountains and incredible flaming Vallartan sunsets over the Pacific.
