This Puerto Vallarta favorite is all about location. You won't find a prettier setting on the Bay of Banderas and still be able to walk to town.

French doors, domed ceilings, white stucco walls, fountains and patios create a light and airy ambience in this romantic tropical setting.

For the rate, the location could not be better. Just below the property are aquamarine waters and shallow reefs for snorkeling. Two incredible white sandy beaches with pristine blue water are less than a half block south of the villa.

And you can walk to town from t...his location. Popular Los Muertos beach and Olas Altas tourist areas in Old Town are an easy 15 minute hike along the gorgeous beaches of Conchas Chinas.

Property includes:

- 4 bedrooms with private bath, A/C and king bed; 3 of the bedrooms have ocean view.

- Lower 4th Bedroom is an ocean front double suite next to the gated entrance featuring a King bed and two twin beds (can be converted to king). This suite shares a bath and makes a perfect area for families and teens; or singles and young adults who want more privacy and keep later hours than the rest of the group.

- 2 Garden suites on upper level overlooking the pool and gardens with views of the ocean

- Master suite on the main level opens onto pool terrace and inner courtyard with fountain

  We stumbled upon Casa Del Mar in our search for a rental property
  large enough to accommodate our 10 ppl party without spending so much we'ld be forced to hitch hike our way back to the airport.
  
  The location of the house has both its perks and limitations.
  The thing that strikes you when you step into the home is the
  panoramic ocean waves that sound like they are crashing at your feet. For us with small children, the area we could cover within walking distance was the hotel next door (the food there was "ok") and the beach a few blocks away. Definitely could not make it up the hill to the highway let alone downtown. Luckily that was solved by a quick 5 min taxi.
  
  If you are looking for a sleek, contemporary home with an infinity pool this is not it. If you are looking for a bit more of character - in both the home, the staff and the experience then I would say Casa Del Mar would be a good fit.

  A getaway in a bubble

  Our family is dispersed right now, with some living in Mexico City and us in Seattle, so we met at Casa del Mar in Puerto Vallarta.
  
  Loved every minute. There was no pressure to do anything but be together. The staff is courteous and helpful, picking us up at the airport, and even helping us buy a wading pool for the grandchildren.
  
  For our daily 2 meals we opted for breakfast and lunch. That way the staff could leave in mid-afternoon and we had the rest of the day to ourselves. Loved the restaurant next door.
  Walked to town on the beach every day! Slept just great! Paradise for a week.

  House by the Sea

  The Casa Del Mar was an amazing villa right y the sea. It was close to a very nice restaurant and we could walk to the center of town in 15 minutes. The service and the cooking at the villa were outstanding. We enjoyed the villas casual and tropical setting as well as the amazing views of the ocean. I would recommend this villa to anyone that had a family and friends that wanted to enjoy PV as a local and not a tourist!
