Nestled in the mountains above the highway to Mismaloya and just minutes from downtown, Quinta Encantada is a secured, private complex with jaw-dropping views of Banderas Bay, the Sierra Madre Mountains and Puerto Vallarta’s Southside. Quinta Encantada is comprised of five luxury Villas under the same ownership, each with its own private entrance, unique style and panoramic view. With approximately 20,000 sq. feet of living space, Quinta Encantada’s 10 air-conditioned bedrooms and three heated pools provide the perfect entertaining and living space for vacations with family or friends, weddings, or corporate retreats.

CASA LEAH: Ca...sa Leah, Quinta Encantada’s 2-bedroom β€œpenthouse,” enjoys 360 degree views that words cannot adequately describe. A covered deck that overlooks Quinta Encantada’s own β€œjungle” and popular Los Muertos Beach is a favorite spot to enjoy a meal or use the telescope to get a closer look at the action on the beach or the bay. Casa Leah’s front deck is perfect for lounging in the afternoon sun, watching whales playing in the bay, viewing the nightly fireworks or swimming in the heated pool that extends into the living and dining area. The covered rear deck is festooned with tropical plants and is the owners’ favorite spot to read while enjoying a cool breeze from the Sierra Madre Mountains. Casa Leah’s master bedroom has a king size bed, a dressing area and large master bath. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed and opens to a private outside terrace through large French doors. The living room has a sectional sofa, a separate sitting area with coffee table and chairs, a television cabinet and a wet bar. The walls of the dining area are adorned with Mexican art, while the dining table (seating 6) sits entirely under a glass skylight.

CASA EMILY: Each of Casa Emily’s 3 bedrooms is has a king size bed and private bathroom covered floor to ceiling in colorful Mexican tile. Casa Emily’s expansive living room has three separate sitting areas, a dining table (seating 8) and spectacular views of Banderas Bay and Puerto Vallarta’s Southside. A den that adjoins the master bedroom has a television and selection of paperbacks and opens to the pool shared with the Casa Samuel next door. The pool deck overlooks Banderas Bay and Quinta Encantada’s own β€œjungle” and is perfect for lounging in the mid-day sun or relaxing under the shade of the deck’s palapa.

CASA GREGORY: Casa Gregory’s 2 bedrooms are on the top floor of this two-story villa. The larger of the two bedrooms has a spacious sitting area that overlooks the Bay and the private pool shared with Casa Carter. Both bedrooms have a private bathroom covered floor-to-ceiling in colorful Mexican tile. Casa Gregory’s first floor has the kitchen with stool seating (for 4) at the kitchen counter, a walk-in pantry, a half-bathroom and a dining table (seating 8). The first floor living room area has a built-in couch with two loveseats and a second separate seating area overlooking the pool. The first floor also provides access to the pool deck where you can lounge in the afternoon sun or rest in the shade of the deck’s palapa.

CASA CARTER: The 1-bedroom Casa Carter enjoys unobstructed views of the Bay and the city from the solitude of its private terrace. Inside, 8 foot sliding glass doors give an open-air feel and permit enjoyment of the city and bay views as you relax on the living room sofa, sit at the dining table or prepare a meal in the kitchen.

CASA SAMUEL: Casa Samuel is Quinta Encantada’s other two-story, 2-bedroom villa. Picture windows on both floors provide stunning views of the Bay looking south toward Los Arcos. Its master bedroom has a king size bed and separate seating area, while its smaller bedroom has two twin beds, a walk-in closet, separate seating area with couch and chairs and an outside terrace with table and chairs that overlooks the pool it shares with Casa Emily. Casa Samuel’s expansive first floor has a card table, a desk and a sectional sofa positioned to enjoy the views of Quinta Encantada’s own β€œjungle” and Banderas Bay. The first floor also has the kitchen with stool seating (for 4) at the kitchen counter and the dining table (seating 6).

Humberto, Quinta Encantada’s English-speaking house manager who lives on-site, will cater to your vacation needs (whether booking a tour, chartering a sailing or fishing excursion, making dinner reservations or arranging transportation).   We had an incredible relaxing honeymoon at Casa Samuel. The property is simply stunning -- photos really can't do it justice. It's like staying in a tree house above the ocean. With your own private pool! You really feel like you're living in the open air. My favorite part was waking every morning to take in the view of the ocean from bed (also, the sunsets were the most amazing I've ever seen in my life!) The house is a manageable 10-15 minute walk down the hill into town (and the beach) or a very easy cab ride down and back -- we were pleasantly surprised that cabs were literally everywhere, very cheap and friendly. Humberto and anna, the house staff, were beyond accommodating and made us feel right at home. We hope to return again and again!

  We recently returned from a two week stay at Villa Gregory and found it to be a wonderful experience. The villa itself is spacious and comfortable with many decorative touches that are a charmingly homey combination of Mexican traditiona/local folk/and street-vendor whimsical. And I'll admit, except for long,early morning walks, very commonly the tantalising combination of large outdoor patio with an abundance of well-tended, beautiful plants, our own heated pool, gentle ocean breezes and absolutely spectacular ocean/city views kept us at the villa, at least until the heat of the day eased. The walk down to the beach or shops only takes about 10 to 15 minutes but I should mention, it's not for someone who's unsturdy on their feet. We're all pretty fit, so we didn't find it a problem, but we generally took a cab back if we'd made any substantial purchases. Fortunately, cabs are abundant and cheap. I'd also like to mention that our stay was delightful for more than just physical accomodations..there is also the human factor. Humberto, the property manager, was friendly, responsive and accommodating. Anna, the maid, always a gentle smile on her face in passing, worked quietly in the background to keep things clean and comfy. And a special thanks to the owners, Barbara and Gerry, who were at Quinta Encantada at the time of our stay. While I know it was just a rental, their gracious and welcoming behaviour truly made us feel like more than just walking cheques. And I admit, it is those human touches that have firmly fixed Quinta Encantada in our minds as accommodation of choice for any future visits to Puerto Vallarta.

  This was our 5th visit to Quinta Encantada and each time we stay there it only gets better. The location and views of the bay and mountains are exquisite from every vantage point in the villa. The staff is wonderful and promptly addresses every need. The villa is magnificently furnished and well appointed with all possible amenities. It is an easy walk or drive to the beach and the local restaurants are fabulous. Staying here is truly paradise and we cannot wait to return!
