      What a Great Place!

Left on 03/26/2013 for a stay in February 2013

We have stayed at Casa Paraiso several times and each stay was fantastic. The housekeeper, Trini and her staff, are so helpful with taxis, dinner recommendations and directions. You will have to go back more than once to experience all the great restaurants on her list. On different occasions, I have had to see a dentist and my wife has had to see a doctor. Trini made all the arrangements to great success. And her breakfasts on the terrace overlooking all of Puerta Vallarta and the bay is just “pinch me†wonderful. The beach, the Malacon, Friday night dance show, and shopping on Badilla is just a short walk down the hill. The swimming pool is always ready for a cool dip. We highly recommend Casa Paraiso. Like us, if you go once, you’ll go back again and again.

      Amazing Experience

Left on 02/18/2013 for a stay in February 2013

Casa Paraiso is located in the hills directly above Puerto Vallarta with spectacular views of the Zone Romantica, Gringo Gulch, and the Bay. The villa is impeccably designed, with each bedroom having a private balcony with views, and even has a secret garden. The surrounding plants, including orchards, are profuse. We fell in to instant relaxation when we exited the taxi in front of the villa upon our arrival, and remained pretty much in that state until we hit customs in Denver on our return. The staff and the services provided were exceptional. For us, it was a World Class experience! We would change nothing. We will return.

Casa Paraiso is a top villa experience.

Left on 10/03/2012 for a stay in September 2012

I have enjoyed both all inclusive resorts and villa rentals in Puerto Vallarta, but this was by far my favorite, based on the location and quality of the home and staff. Since i arranged this trip for several companions, none of which had rented a villa before, I was particularly pleased because I recieved all the accolades and thanks from them for choosing Casa Paraiso. Every aspect of this home is five-star; cleanliness, comfort, beauty and value. Be mindful that there is a flight of stairs and not suitable for those with mobility issues. But the view and setting on the hilside is worth it! We paid extra for dinners in the villa, and I highly recommend it to future visitors. They were our best meals. I would definitely book this villa again. We rented the villa through Luxury Retreats, and their services were excellent and they were very communicative.

      Perfection!

Left on 06/12/2012 for a stay in May 2012

This was my dream home and my dream vacation. Located high above the city of Puerto Vallarta, but close enough to walk everywhere, with views that were breathtaking, night and day. The decor and the design of Casa Paraiso is perfect. I felt like I was living my dream and I guess I really was! There were just two of us and we roamed around from room to room, feeling like the King and Queen of the Villa and we were! With breakfast overlooking the water daily; Cocktails in our private pool overlooking the city; Yummy dinners cooked by Triny and amazing nearby restaurants, tequila bars and shops...and more shops...who could ask for anything more. We'll be back again next year, with friends and family!

And we can't wait to get back! This villa is perfect! And oh so Mexican! And yummy food thanks to Triny! Everywhere you look there is a view! The Azul Room....all exquisitely decorated! Our private pool...mornings and night!

      a dream spot

Left on 05/28/2012 for a stay in May 2012

my family of 7 family members and one friend stayed here for 5 unforgettable days...our first sight of this fantastic villa was wow and that is what we said every day! The home is spotless with a wonderful cook Trini who fixes daily breakfasts which are included in the rental fee. Her helper keeps the rooms clean and fresh and everything is delightful to the eye. with views of the bay and PV skyline out of every window. The decor is beautifully done, the pool is secluded and perfect . Trini met us with fabulous margaritas and guacomole dip waiting for us , and it got better and better every day. We have already booked for next year, and agreed it was one of our bet vacation spots ever! We thank the Drurys for sharing it.

      Excellence in every way.

Left on 02/27/2012 for a stay in February 2012

This is the perfect home if you want to be in the heart of the old town but still have the views and quality of a 5 star resort. Just a short 5 minute walk down the hill you will find all the restaurants and shopping you could want and the beach is just a 7-10 minute walk. The house is just high enough on the hill for fantastic views but not so high that you can't walk the steep hill. (Although most times we paid the 40-50 pesos ($4-5 USD) to have a taxi drive us up.) There are however a lot of steps up to the house which were difficult with heavy luggage, but well worth the trip once you get to the top. The housekeeper, Trini is an absolute delight and willing to assist you with whatever you want: shopping, cooking, laundry, cleaning. You won't even know she is there unless you need something as she goes out of her way to offer you privacy while she does her work. We highly recommend this wonderful home to anyone who is looking for the perfect location in beautiful Puerto Vallarta.

Phenomenal view, gorgeous villa, great location, friendly staff

Left on 01/18/2012 for a stay in January 2012

I just returned from a 1 week trip at Casa Paraiso. Casa Paraiso is stunning. It has a great view of the city and is an easy walk into the romantic zone. The staff made us the most amazing breakfasts on the patio each morning and were very friendly and helpful. The hill you have to walk up to get to the villa is certainly killer at night after a few cocktails but well worth it due to the stunning views you have of the city. My only word of caution would be that the music from the clubs down below echoes up the hill loudly at night into the wee hours of the morning. Otherwise, this is a perfect get-away retreat.

A delightful secret in the heart of Puerta Vallarta -wonderfully

Left on 01/08/2012 for a stay in April 2011

We've been to Casa Paraiso 4 times and each stay has been a delight! The location is perfect for a quick walk to the beach or into town, and yet the privacy, expansive bay view and superb service make it hard to leave the property.

We had medium sized group with lots of different interests. Some in our group wanted daily adventures and they were immediately and expertly accommodated. The local knowledge and help provided made a huge difference. Others in our group wanted to relax at the house and had independent schedules, so the gracious layout, with it's private patios, secret gardens and solar pool was ideal.

The service was just the right balance of professional and helpful, yet unobtrusive. We quickly learned that we couldn't have been in better hands and have made it a point to get back whenever we can find the time.

      One of the Best

Left on 11/16/2011 for a stay in October 2010

In the 20 plus years of coming to Puerto Vallarta I have stayed in quite a few very nice villas in the Romantic Zone and have always been very pleased. For last year's visit I was disappointed to find that our usual favorite place was unavailable. It turned out that this disappointment was a great piece of luck because otherwise we would have not discovered Casa Paraiso, by far the nicest place we have rented in Puerto Vallarta.

This particular trip was I was feeling the burden of responsibility in choosing a place that everyone in our group would find pleasing. No worry here; I was the hero for my astounding judgment. Style, comfort, and location are always my top criteria when selecting a place to stay. Casa Paraiso is beautifully designed and nicely furnished and decorated. It is obvious that a lot of care went into the recent renovations. The expansive layout provides places to gather and socialize but one can always choose to retreat to a number of tranquil spaces. When we arrived there was no problem deciding who would get the good rooms and who would settle for the not-so-good rooms. All four rooms were "good" and each room had some feature that made it special.

The location is good, just high enough up the hillside for beautiful views but low enough to make it an easy walk to and from the beach and restaurants of the "romantic zone". A few late evenings we were lazy and took a taxi but mostly we walked. The staff is accommodating and mostly unobtrusive and all of our dealings with the owner, Maria, were very satisfactory. My initial email inquiry was almost immediately followed by a courtious phone call and all the arrangements were handled quickly and efficiently. We have already recommended Casa Paraiso to a number of friends and it is now our new favorite place to stay in Puerto Vallarta.

Beautiful villa in a fabulous location

Left on 08/31/2011 for a stay in February 2009

What a beautiful villa! The minute we arrived, I felt relaxed and on vacation. The villa was beautifully decorated with Mexican charm and the way it nestled into the hillside was delightful. Although we stayed there in February, it was sunny and hot enough to swim in the ocean. Our group comprised of 4 couples and we were all delighted with our bedrooms. There was plenty of living room with large, soft sofas to sink into after a hard day on the beach!
Trini cooked us enormous breakfasts and spoiled us with copious amounts of margaritas, chips, home- made salsa and guacamole.
We loved exploring the old town of Puerto Vallarta which was a short walk away. The locals were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. One of the beach front restaurants put tables on the sand for us to eat one evening as the sun set. Nothing was too much trouble. All in all it was a wonderful, magical week.

Lookoing to Book My 6th Trip to Casa Paraiso!!!

Left on 08/28/2011 for a stay in February 2010

I love this place!!! (as you tell from the title) I am looking to organize my 6th trip back to Casa Paraiso. I have travelled with my extended family, work colleagues and a much needed break with 3 other adult couples. The house is decorated very tastefully and each of the 4 bedrooms en-suite has something unique to offer. Views above old town are stunning any time of day.

Each stay I have been greeted by a fresh pitcher of frozen Margaritas and home made salsa. Trini the house keeper extraordinaire is very professional and unobtrusive. I highly recommend the spinach omelet and her freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast sitting on the grand terrace overlooking the city.

Casa Paraiso is well situated for walks to old town and the beaches. Many days we had grand plans for exploration but instead stay at the house and enjoyed the pool and many different views of the city.

I couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay while on vacation. This home is truly luxurious while maintaining the ambience of costal Mexico. I will definitely book here again.

      Great winter week in Mexico

Left on 08/17/2011 for a stay in January 2011

Casa Paraiso is our favorite destination in old Mexico. From the moment we arrived at the front gate and were greated by Trini, til we had to say "mi la pasa bien" this week was a delight. Brunch on the patio overlooking PV and Bandera Bay set the mood for the day. Just a 10 minute walk down the cobblestone road and sidewalk to the beach and shopping in the romantic district. Everybody's bedroom had wide open views of the city lights at night. And their list of restaurant suggestions is fantastic. Pv and Casa Paraiso is a wonderful way to experience Mexico.

Left on 08/17/2011 for a stay in July 2010

Casa Paraiso was a fantastic get away for us and another couple. We were there several days around July 4th and were surprised it wasn't too hot. There was always a nice breeze and many hours were spent on the various patios and at the private pool. The view of Puerta Vallarta and the ocean was incredible. Restaurants, shopping and the beach are only a short walk away. Very special was Trini who shopped and cooked for us. We had delicious breakfasts and dinner. A great cook and very eager to please. The house was really interesting and lovely, comfortable and spacious with beautiful bedrooms and baths. Great decor. Very safe and private. The landscaping alone is something to see. Hope to go back someday soon.

Casa Paraiso is a beautiful villa in a wonderful location. The bedroom suites are tastefully decorated, comfortable, and private. Left on 08/11/2011 for a stay in June 2009

Myself and four friends stayed at Casa Paraiso, Puerto Vallarta for a week during June of 2009. On our arrival, we were met by one of the owners of the home, with chips, guacamole and margaritas. We were thrilled with the house and the outdoor areas; they were so beautiful and decorated with such good taste. We were very comfortable there and would love to go back in the future. The two housekeepers were wonderful also. They fixed breakfast on the terrace for us each morning and had prepared fresh guacamole for us to enjoy each afternoon, along with special requests we asked of them. All five of us had a great time at the house and doing activities around town, such as sailing, golfing, shopping and fishing.

Left on 08/11/2011 for a stay in November 2008

The managers of our company needed a quiet getaway to do some planning and have some fun. Casa Paraiso was just the ticket. Located in the hills above the city, the views were spectacular. The casa is very comfortable, roomy and well appointed. There are many areas to relax, eat, meet, read, sleep and enjoy. Town is just a short walk (or taxi) down the hill... but you may just find yourself hanging out at this magical spot. I highly recommend Casa Paraiso.
