Manuel AntonioThe perfect house in a perfect location
Left on 11/02/2012 for a stay in October 2012
The placed was the best for us as we were trying to be away from the crowd and annoying noise. Location is the best 600m to the chiquita beach we went every day to run/swim it was beautiful, 5 minutes drive to Puerto viejo town and other 5 minutes to punta uva. So quiet except for the howler monkeys, white faced monkeys and toucans that come every day!!! Animals all around the property can be easily spotted from the balcony. The house is really nice, loved the wooden staircase! How ever I just have a suggestion: I think the house should have a stereo system you could connect your mp3/ipod or a TV would be really nice.

The location was really great being in a National Forest with monkey's swinging by the place and playing high up in the trees. The top view room was absolutely amazing with the panoramic views and being able to see the ocean. With the location up on a hill we received a nice breeze most of the day keeping the house comfortable. I would definitely stay there again and I really like the nearby towns and activities. I recommend going white water rafting!!

The house was imaculate from the beginning of our trip to the end. The views were amazing and the architecture of the house and surroundings were breath-taking. I highly recommend for any adventurous group to take advantage and experience an unforgettable getaway!

If you are looking for true Costa Rican atmosphere with privacy and authentic style, this is the place for you.
We really enjoyed the top bedroom with the ocean in the distance and privacy all around. The quality of home was perfect without a detail being left out.
Wake up in the morning to a delicious cup of costa rican coffee while you swing in your hammock on the deck and watch the monkey's play in the nearby trees.
Can't wait to come stay here again!! -

Southern NH, USJack's time at Casa Brisas
Left on 04/29/2010 for a stay in April 2009
My last visit was in April of 2009 before that May of 2008. I want to experiance the different seasons here as the difference between April and May was noteable. In May the Giant Fig Tree next to the house was loaded with ripe figs and the Howler Monkeys were all over it every day, we have many good pictures and great memories. One day a group of White Faces monkeys passed through taking their turn eating the figs. In April the Giant Fig grew new bright green leaves and the Howlers were there eating the tender new leaves. In April many trees here flower.
The house is made of concrete and beautiful woods, the floors either wood or tile and each floor has different features and views. It is an adventure of its own. Though the ocean was a kilometers walk away, there was so much going on at the house that I found it hard to leave. Being up on a hill it seemed to have much better air than the flat land down below.
There were too many birds for me to keep track of alone. One of us would describe the bird while the other looked it up in a book.
Within 6 kilometers of the house there was a restaurant serving about any kind of food you like though I do not recall any middleastern food.
The place was clean, and the people from the managment company were curtious, timely and in my case English speaking. I have used them in the past and this is the house I like best.
The horse shoe pits were an added bonus!Response from Emmanuelle Pinto - 04/30/2010
