At Casas La Selvatica we offer two comfortable homes, immersed in nature and surrounded by wildlife, yet only minutes away from a lovely beach, good grocery store and restaurants. The setting is ideal for couples or families wishing for more than a hotel room within easy reach of countless low ecological impact recreational activities (wildlife watching, coral reef snorkeling and scuba diving, jungle zip-line treks, river rafting, etc.). Our property and the surrounding area are home to an incredible array of wildlife: you will most likely watch howler monkeys in their search for food, toucans or sloths, right from the comfort of your porch.... The house is located minutes away from a couple of most picturesque beaches in the Caribbean. Your bilingual host on site is available to assist with information about the area, bookings for activities/tours and offer detailed attention to your comfort throughout your vacation.

Casa Grande has two bedrooms, one bath and two dens, comfortably accommodating up to five people. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a large outdoor dining area. The frog and Lilly Pond is a great place to sit and relax watching and learning about endangered species of frogs, including seeing the iconic Red Eye Frog. Casa Mango, our one bedroom home, is described in its separate listing.

If you seek serenity, while enjoying the convenience of a picture perfect beach and services within a few minutes walk, this is the place for you.

We offer the following, along with your accommodation:

- use of a 3G internet data card for wireless access to internet using your own laptop;

- use of cell phone for making calls with your own calling card (available at the nearby grocery store)

- on site English/Spanish speaking caretaker available to provide information, assist with activities booking, etc.

- complimentary use of up to two bicycles for vacations of minimum seven days; for shorter vacations the bikes are available for $5/day

- coffeemaker, blender and kettle

- safe and locking area, for secure storage of your valuables

- good quality towels and bedding

- complimentary laundry service provided by our caretaker for vacations of minimum 7 days; for shorter vacations, the service is available for $5/load (washing, drying and folding)

- hammock on the porch.

We would love to customize your vacation according to your needs. If you are celebrating a special occasion or would like to pleasantly surprise a loved one, we can provide additional services as required (tea lights by the pool, bottle of wine, local handmade organic chocolate, etc.) or arrange for a romantic dinner or spa package before your arrival.

  Daniel and Jeff were great hosts. The location was off the beaten track with access to the beach, mtns., cocao plantation, wildlife rescue and many quality restaurants. In this area the people are friendly and bikes were a great way to get out to see the area, meet people, and view rain forest wildlife.

  The house was very clean, decorated with taste and comfortable. Jeff and Daniel, the owners were very welcoming. They went out of their way to help us have a very agreable stay. They were just awesome!!!
