Playa Turquesa is a new condo development located in the El Cortecito area of Punta Cana. The complex features 24 hour security, two large swimming pools - one with a pool bar, two kiddie pools, reception area, beautiful gardens and walkways, outdoor showers, brand new lounge chairs, and a great beachfront pergola for Playa Turquesa guests only.

Our easily accessible ground floor condo is just steps from the pool, kiddie pool, and reception area with ocean views from the patio. Our condo features a master bedroom with a king size bed, ensuite bathroom, plasma TV and Dvd player. The spacious second bedroom features a queen size bed and... a twin size bed, cable TV, and a separate washroom just across the hall. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances. The open concept dining/living area features a six seat dining table, a sofa and loveseat, and a large plasma TV and Dvd player. The patio area is equipped with a privacy screen and two padded lounge chairs which are great for an afternoon siesta, plus a small dining table and chairs for casual dining. Other amenities within the condo include a video library, hair dryer, washer/dryer, WiFi, cable, iron.

With direct access to the soft white sandy beaches and turquoise waters of Bavaro beach, Playa Turquesa, is conveniently located. A short walk in either direction along the beach will give you access to a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and shops. Walking along the street, you will find many amenities such as a variety of restaurants, ATMs, bakeries, grocery stores, drug stores, liquor stores, bars, nightclubs, spas, and Laundromats. A five minute cab ride will take you to the luxury Palma Real Shopping Centre featuring the Hard Rock Café, Tony Roma’s restaurant, a Sushi restaurant, movie theatres and a large selection of high end shops and boutiques. A variety of world class golf courses are also a short cab ride away. Playa Turquesa is only a 20 minute drive from the Punta Cana airport.   We had a great time staying in this well-equiped apartment. It is only short walks to many great restaurants and shops, but we also stayed in and enjoyed meals on the patio. We hope to return next winter.

  We've stayed at this condo the past two winters and plan on returning to it again in January 2013. It's spacious, nicely decorated and comfortable. It's well equipped with dishes, utensils, pots,pans, good quality bedding and towels etc etc. We didn't find that we were missing anything. It's well situated within the complex, right off one of the pools and close to the grocery store, bakery, pharmacy and restaurants. Everything we wanted was within easy walking distance. The beach is beautiful and there are comfortable lounge chairs. It's a quiet and safe environment. There is a property manager close by who was helpful and made sure we had what we needed during our stay. We loved it.
