This condo is located in the center of the popular El Cortecito strip and is within a 10 minute walk to the beautiful Bavaro beach. There is one parking space allocated for anyone renting this condo.
Whether you want to just relax around the pool, walk to the beach or join in the Bavaro nightlife, everything you need is within a 10-15 minute walk and shopping is nearby within a 5-10 minute drive, including Caribbean cinemas at the San Juan Shopping Center where most of the movies are played in English.
If you are a golfer, there are many beautiful golf courses in the area including Cocotal Golf and Country Club, Iberostate Golf Club, Punta Espada Golf Course and many more.

This unit is in a newer condo complex that boasts very nice landscaping, pool, and more than adequate fitness room. It is only about a ten minute walk to the beach, and less than that to a smaller grocery store and a few eating spots. A new larger grocery store is opening in early april in the Palma Real Shopping Village and this is only about ten minutes away by car, or you can walk it in twenty to twenty five minutes.
Brenda Chapman is the manager for this unit and a couple of others in the complex, and she is truly excellent at her job, and a pleasure to deal with. For those that don't wish to rent a car, she can arrange the taxi pick up at the airport and later the drop off on the way home, both making the arrival and departure a smooth transition. ( The taxi will even wait for you while you pick up groceries on the way in, or a small extra cost)
The unit itself is spacious with good beds and furnishings. However because it is on the ground floor and right next to the pool and fitness center ,that also houses the various complex mechanicals, it can be a bit noisy and lack privacy.
The unit is starting to show wear, with rust on the kitchen sink and most of the faucets, and many of the pots and pans and kitchen knives and implements have seen their best days. There weren't any cleaning materials including dishwashing soap, laundry detergent, bathroom cleaners and all this had to be purchased.
The unit could use with a "welcome" folder outlining some of the local restaurants, and other useful information for renters, as most of this was gleaned from asking the property manager or some of the owners in the complex.
We have rented in many countries over the years and would rate the unit as just average. -

We stayed at this property from Dec 15 - Jan 12 2013...family of 4 that includes two 20+ kids/adults...had a great time in DR...location of this property is good...property manager Brenda was great...most of the restaurants in the area are over priced and not that great but if you wander around you'll find a few that you can enjoy...it all depends on what type of food you like...look at the menus and prices...Macao and Cap Cana beaches are great...rent a car...it's a blast...just be very careful driving around...we really enjoyed this property and it's location and especially the owners we met...great people...we recommend the Nacional grocery store when you leave the airport...not as busy and good selection..there is another grocery store within walking distance of the condo...limited selection but not bad..Bavaro beach is busy but nice...just remember you'll get bugged by vendors...just say "No Gracious" and they'll leave you alone...weather was good...the condo itself was good...beds were a little hard but no worries...pool was very nice...price was right...we would recommend this property and would stay there again...cheers

this unit was a great place to stay. has everything necessary allowing you to feel at home. it is a very convenient location, a pleasant walk to the beach. very secure and private. i will rent this apt again for my nxt stay.
