This condo is spotless, comfortable and convenient! It is nicer than the photos, and affords spectacular views of beautiful Bavaro beach. Ilia and Irina made us feel as though the condo was our home. Visitors should not miss an opportunity to have Mary prepare an authentic Domincan meal. I would not hesitate to strongly recommend this condo as a great "home base" from which to enjoy a little piece of DR paradise. Salute Ilia!

Our expectations were quite high based on the favorable reviews from previous visitors and we were not disappointed, the accommodations were wonderful, bright, attractive and spacious. The view from the veranda was very pleasant to the eye, manicured palm trees and landscaping, breathtaking view of the ocean and for families with children like us, unobstructed view of the pool area.
The beach was wonderful and cleaned every day, lounge chairs available for your use including drink services. Plenty to do on and off the water; we went out on a glass boat excursion and enjoyed a parasail with my son-in-law and grandson. If you're like to pamper yourself abit, enjoy a massage. There's one available right on the beach at a very reasonable price.
It was a pleasure to meet Ilia, as she said it puts a "face" on her guests as well for the guests. Ilia was very helpful and made us feel comfortable in her home. Arranged our airport pickup, our driver Manuel, was the best; took us the super market on the way, help us shop, spending an hour or so extra in the process, no extra charge. When you arrive, you'll be met by Irina, the manager and the maid, Mary. Irina will go over the in & outs of the condo and if you have any questions or problems, she's available 24/7, we didn't have any issues.
Ilia mentioned Mary being a great cook and decided to try a true Dominican cuisine, it was delicious. Strongly recommend to give it a try.She does it all, shops, prepares and sets the table.
And there's a guide book available highlighting local info and suggestions.Small food markets and including aTM within 5 min. walk.

2 adults & 4 teenagers enjoyed 2 glorious weeks during spring break this past March. The condo owner, Ilia, arranged our airport transportation and we were greeted with a warm welcome at the condo by the condo manager, Irina, and maid, Maria. This condo is very comfortable, clean and feels like home. Just steps away from the swimming pool and the ocean! Walking distance to many restaurants along with a bakery and small grocery store across the street. We enjoyed all restaurants in terms of food and service. Often had 2-3 waiters looking after us at each restaurant. Food is very reasonably priced as well - cost us generally $100 us for 6 of us to eat dinner including appetizers. Highly recommend eating at: Citrus, Bonita's & Danny's, to name a few of our favorites.
Ilia and Irina kept in close contact with us throughout our entire time at the condo, tending to any need or questions we had. The maid, Maria is there every other day to clean, wash dishes, remove garbage and launder the towels. She cooked a spectacular Dominican meal for us 1 evening, including the clean up/dishes which was much appreciated.
We enjoyed having the swim pool bar/food service. Edward is there all day providing excellent service. We felt safe as there is 24/7 security on site in this gated condo community, including at the beach area.
We recommend travellers bring bug spray as the mosquitos can be bothersome in the evenings.

We are a family of four and rented this condo for March Break. We chose a condo over an all-inclusive so that we could have more room (we are a blended family) and more culture/adventure. This condo was perfect in every way. The condo is as pictured, and even a little better. Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom which was a really nice bonus. The condo was pristinely clean, and came with a housecleaner who cleaned it / laundered towels every two days. Unnecessary but appreciated nonetheless. (By the way we had Maria the housecleaner come to make us dinner one night and it was fabulous - I would definitely recommend it.) The view from the beautiful balcony was spectacular. The beach was pristine, the grounds were gorgeous, and as soon as we stepped off the grounds we were in Dominican culture (also close to restaurants etc). Ilia the condo owner was very helpful right from the day we booked, and when we arrived at the condo there was a book full of suggestions and helpful hints. Really, this condo hits the ball out of the park, and for a very reasonable price.
A few notes regarding the area - the sidewalks are narrow and traffic heavy so if you're with children be careful. Also I would not recommend walking at night as the sidewalks have pieces missing and there is very little light. As for restaurants, you can get a good burger at Danny's across the street. Citrus restaurant around the corner was very good and reasonably priced (this restaurant can be trusted for a good meal with decent ambiance at a good price). The greek restaurant on the beach - good location, lousy food. I would highly recommend walking south on the beach for 30 minutes to Jellyfish resturant - this was the best restaurant we found, reasonably priced and wonderful food/wine, and they will pay for your cab home if you make a reservation and then spend $100+ for dinner. I've just returned from an amazing week-long vacation at this beautiful condo on the beach in Punta Cana. The Playa Turqesa complex is lovely, situated on a stunning beachfront location complete with immaculately maintained landcaping and swimming pools. Excellent and reasonably priced restaurants, a bakery, and a small grocery are just a short walk outside the complex gates.
The condo unit itself is immaculately clean and beautifully
decorated. There was an abundance of space for my husband and me and the two other couples sharing the condo with us.
We especially enjoyed the large terrace with its view looking out to the beach.
The condo owner, Ilia, was most helpful in arranging our transportation from the airport. Candela, our taxi driver,
even stopped with us to buy groceries on the way to the condo. (We also hired him a few days later for a personal
tour to Higuey. and he drove us back to the airport for our flight home as well.) Marie, the housekeeper, and Irina, the property manager, were awaiting our arrival and were most helpful in getting us set up and answering our questions.
I hope to get the chance to rent this condo again, and I would absolutely recommend it to my friends and family.

Excellent place to unwind! Management is great to work with and go out of their way to make you feel at home and taken care of.
Location, location, location...you can't get much better than 300 feet from the ocean! The condo has a great balcony facing the ocean and the ocean breeze constantly flows through the entire unit. Ac was hardly ever needed.
The private, guarded beach is hands down the best beach for miles in either direction. Sand is perfect and cleaned of seaweed every morning, plenty of room and built in shaded area if you need it.
Nice restaurants and bars are just a short walk down the beach (Huracon is great) and very reasonably priced. A grocery store, french-style bistro, pharmacy and bar & grill are just across the street and very convenient.

One of the few time something left me speechless. When you enter the apartment the first time (make sure you get there during the day) and look at the view, you know you are in paradise. This is one of the few time the description by the owner doesn't make justice to the property.
The place is a very nice size, 3 bedrooms with their own bathroom, and the master bedroom has an amazing view from the bed. The balcony is what really makes this place. It is very big and the view from it is the best of all the units in this complex. To top it off, the apartment complex is located in the best location in Punta Cana. We walked on the beach about 3 mile each direction and not other place could compare with ours: clean sand, no people trying to sell you stuff, and the bar service and chairs are great. By the way, the beach is less than 50 yard away (if that much).
Ilia and her staff are very helpful. It was a pleasure meeting Ilia and she has set the apartment to be your house. While you are there, you need to ask Mary to cook a sancocho for you. The best meal we had in Punta Cana.
Dominicanos are very nice and gentle people, so make sure you leave the turist area and go downtown. Just take the buss to Friusa (about 30 dominican pesos) and have a couple of really cold beers in the Car Wash.
All six of us had a great time in the R.D and looking forward to go back. My only complaint is that we went there for only one week (and perhaps that the apartment wasn't free :) )Response from Ilia - 02/01/2013

Luxury beachfront Punta Cana Condo está localizado em uma praia paradisÃaca. O apartamento é muito agradável, com todas as instalações em perfeito estado. A área da piscina é muito bonita, ampla e voltada para o mar. O serviço é excelente, desde os funcionários a estrutura: ducha na beira da praia, cadeiras para tomar sol, guarda-sol, tanto na praia quanto na piscina. Ao lado do condomÃnio tem uma empresa muito boa de esportes e atividades aquáticas. Além disso, a proprietária é uma pessoa muito simpática e prestativa.

The beach is the best in the complete island...
My experience in the condo and the Ilia apartament was incredible. The apartament look new and very clean. Its big and the furnitures are new and modern...
If you are looking a place to stay in Punta Cana with your family in a privet place, the place to stay is the Ilias apartament.

We truly enjoyed the luxurious facilities of this beautiful beach front property at Playa Turquesa J302 owned by Ilia. We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival, of how spacious the condo was, and also how beautifully and well decorated it was. Everything you need is there, quality beds, kitchen supplies, sandy beac, ocean, pool, and the restaurants and groceries are close by and generally of excellent price and quality. The pace of life on the private beach area for Playa Turquesa is definitely calmer and more relaxed then at an all-inlcusive hotel nearby. It has the service for drinks if you want it, large pool, swimmable ocean and sun or shade which are all that are really required. The beds are very comfortable, maid and towel service efficient and appropriately spaced every two days. We really enjoyed Marie's home made Domincan dinner on our last night. It was some of the best food we ate all week. If you want activity in your day, its all there, as the coordinator of outings, Lisa, is always ready and willing to organize something for you. The only thing I would improve on are, the choice of pillows to sleep with on each of the beds, as they were a bit flat, and felt like a folded towel. Also, perhaps have a darker colour of beach towel so that they stayed cleaner at the beach, not white. Other than that, I would say that it was an excellent condo for our family holiday, we would definitely love to return to Playa Turquesa and we highly recommend it to others.

Took my boys and their girlfriends (total 6 adults) here from 29 Dec to 5 Jan. Condo was perfect for 6 adults. Each bedroom had its own bathroom with shower which was great. The Condo looked out over the beach and we were 50 yds from the private beach. The private beach had lounge chairs and some pads for the lounge chairs. It was also monitored by private security guards so only people staying there had access. The beach was beautiful and wide open. We noticed that some of the nearby resorts didnt have as nice of beaches. There was a real sense of community on the beach. Everyone from the other condos were very friendly. They even had the pool bartender walking the beach taking drink orders. $2 for a beer.
The location was excellent. We were within walking distance of a grocery store and restaurants. The restaurants that we ate at were all well priced and the portions were good. The grocery store was adequate but we had the taxi driver stop at a big supermarket on way from airport to condo where selection was much greater.
We had a housekeeper that would come and clean every other day. We actually had her prepare a meal for us the last night there and it was excellent and well worth doing. The only downfall was that we only had 6 beach towels so it was hard to get them washed because we were using them at the beach while she arrived to clean and do the laundry.
The master bedroom faced the beach front and every night we slept with the patio doors open and enjoyed the breeze off the ocean. We never had to use the aC.
I would definitely go this route again. The condo was fabulous. We went to an all inclusive in Feb and found this way alot better and cheaper even though we had to feed ourselves and pay for our own drinks.
Ilia, the owner, provided us with a lot of information on where to go, where to avoid etc. and even arranged for a taxi to meet us at the airport when we arrived.
It was a perfect holiday and a great way to kick off 2013.

It is impossible to overstate how wonderful our stay was at this condo. Everything that was advertised was actually understated. The view was incredible, the beach-the very best of the Caribbean, the condo itself impeccable. Every amenity was either present or instantly available. The two days and nights we were there seemed like they had created the place just for us. The pool was pristine, and though not many users it was thought they took care of it solely for our use.
Security was superb, but very subtle. Even the one time I was approached by security they were polite and professional. They too seemed concerned only that I was enjoying myself and all that the place had to offer, free from any challenge or bother.
My wife and I arrived on a Sunday evening and left on Wednesday morning. We enjoyed many activities, but loved just being inside the condo too. It was beautifully appointed, yet comfortable and inviting.
If you are looking for privacy, and yet access to anything you might want or discover you need, this is the place. There were wonderful restaurants (national chains and quaint local places) just minutes from the hotel, and of course, you could prepare any foods you wanted in the condo as well.
I highly recommend this condo. Of course I never met the owners, but they have to be conscientious and caring about their guests. I will return the next opportunity I have to enjoy this wonderful condo and its private beach, as well as the wonderful world of the Dr's East shore.Response from Ilia - 01/11/2013

My family stayed (2 adults & 3 children)in J302 over this past Christmas. The accomendations were very good, three bedrooms and 3 baths. The condo was spacious and thoughfully decorated. The Condo as well as the property is well designed and maintained and kept very clean. The beach is a few steps from the condo and is the best in the area. The owners are good to do business with and very helpfull.

The Condo is beautiful and very modern. Everything you would have at home in the us can be found ready at this property. (Including an amazing sounding surround sound system. Bring your CDs because I didnt see an Ipod desk.) perfect ocean Veiw. The pictures on this site do not do it justice. The shower in the master is really cool.
Ilia arranged for Manuel to pick us up from the airport. He took us to the grocery store as soon as he picked us up. Madi, was awesome. She felt like part of the family. Irina was also very helpful in arranging our return to the airport. Security is excellent. They will not allow anyone on the property who is not registered.
The property is in a perfect location in Bavaro Beach. Barcelo resort is about a five minute walk on the beach and a local bar that we frequented was about five minutes passed that. The beach front is always being well kept and maintained.
The neighborhood behind the property is so cool. El Cortecito I believe it's called. Bakery, Italian restaurant, hamburger stand, several convenient stores and a Karaoke/sports bar. Perfect mix of locals and tourist. Just hanging out on the corner with the local merchants on their lunch break was a cool experience.
The IFa and Secrets resorts are a short taxi ride from the property. We actually walked to Secrets at one point. (Nice Beach Party) Both have excellent night life. A modern Mall which has the Hard Rock Cafe and Tony Roma's is about a five drive.
We didn't feel the need to rent a car. All the excitement was near the property. If transportation is needed, the guys on the motor bikes, (taxis) will come swooping up as soon as you walk out of the property gate. We did rent a motor bike, however. Fun fun fun. I did take a taxi to Majestic Colonial resort which is about 10 minutes away.
I should have mentioned earlier that Ilia is very professional and communicated very well via email. I recall one phone call. All emails were returned promptly. Excellent service. I can not wait to return to this amazing place in June 2013!!!Response from Ilia - 01/10/2013
