Milwaukee30 seconds to the beach with a shaded roof top terrace
Left on 04/11/2013 for a stay in March 2013
Less than one minute to the outstanding , white sand El Cortecito beach , no joke. The three spacious bedrooms and acompanying bathrooms were beautiful as is the remainder of the three levels. My favorite aspect of this townhouse was the large living/ dining area with a ample balcony ,seating four comfortably.

Ottawa CanadaA wonderful month at Beach Residence
Left on 03/07/2013 for a stay in February 2013
We stayed at the Beach Residence for the month of February, 2013. Our adult children joined us for a week and the condo offered enough space for all of us to have some privacy, yet enjoy each other's company around the huge dining room table. Being a penthouse condo, the ocean breezes cooled the rooms nicely and we only used the air conditioner at night. The beach is a short one minute's walk from the condo. The local markets were within walking distance with a fresh fruits and vegetables stand, and a small grocery store in the El Dorado shopping complex. There are plenty of restaurants in the area for when eating out is preferred. All rental communications were through Ellen who responded promptly to all my emails and ensured that the entire booking process was went smoothly. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Greenville, SCVery comfortable, private location just off the main street but
Left on 03/04/2013 for a stay in February 2013
Beautiful new accommodations; Fully equipped with all necessary ammenities; Just moments from the beach and souvenir shops. Modern mall just 10 mins away by car/bus. You can do as much as you want off the property, or just relax and enjoy yourself in one of the two large pools on the property. Two balconies (one off the living room and one off the master bedroom) overlooking the pool are nice for your morning coffee or evening snack. Very spacious master suite with private bath and good-sized 2nd bedroom with attached bath. 1/2 bath on 1st floor is great to save you going upstairs. Large dining room seats 8 people, plus kitchen bar with 2 barstools. A/C works great and cools off very quickly. Large flat screen TV and separate DVD player in L/R is nice for when you just want to relax inside after a full day in the sun. Also a large flatscreen TV in master B/R. Upper floor makes it real quiet with no noise from people below. Washer/dryer off kitchen makes it real convenient to throw in those wet suits/towels or just run a load of those necessary articles in a pinch. Very safe location; on-site porters available to assist with loading/unloading. Water available for purchase in complex office. Small drugstore right next door that stocks most anything you'd need (from batteries to deodorant to baby diapers to sun lotion) that you may run out of, forgot to pack, or just couldn't fit in your suitcase. Several restaurants within walking distance...many more just a short drive away. Didn't use local transportation but heard from other renters there that it was inexpensive and very easy to use to get around. Rental car place directly across the street; Money exchange place very closeby. All in all, a great place to stay for as little as a week or even for a couple months, if it's available for that length of time.

New YorkCondo was stunning...hidden cost not so great
Left on 03/02/2013 for a stay in October 2012
The condo itself is breathetaking, marble everywhere, the decor was very unique and enchanting.
The cons, little corners of bathroom and bedrooms, could have been more thought cleaned.
I was with my parents, grandparent and elders, so it took extra time settling in and the person who was getting us settled in seemed annoyed it was taking so long. She was kind enough to pick up my mother who was dropped off in the wrong location about 1 mile away.
I had read reviews about the high amount of algae at the beach across the street, but I had no idea how intense it would be. When I asked the locals how long the beach has been like this they said over 2 months.
I wish the owners of the property would have told us this, because this seems to be an ongoing issue.
I know it's Mother Nature, but a heads up would have been greatly appreciated.
Needless to say me and my family where never able to go swimming on the beach.
So we mostly stayed in the condo and enjoyed the gorgeous property.
When we are leaving the property manager tells us it will be an additional $200
For the electric!!!
We where there for 4 days!
I asked for a copy of the electric bill and never received it.
They were also pretty rude about it.
Till this day I am waiting for them to get in contact with me.Response from La Costa Destinations International Realty - 03/03/2013

Hello Johaira,
I was surprised to see the high consumption as well but I was not so surprised when I went up the stairs and I could already feel the cold air on the second floor as your family was sitting on the couch with the AC blasting and the front door open. When I went upstairs the AC was on in the bedrooms as well and everybody was ready for departure. Part of your family lives here so they know that electricity is expensive, especially in Bavaro as it is a private company.
I am sure that all the 6 AC's have been on day and night. Normally people go to the beach during the day and turn the AC's off. Most likely part of your family stayed inside during the day with the AC's on, that is the only explanation. You have read the meter with me.
I have not been rude at all to your mother. I felt bad about the high
consumption and to ask an additional fee. We even laughed about it as your grandfather wanted to pay with his tennis shoes so I don't know why she is saying that I was rude to her. I went out of my way to please you and your family and to spend my gas money for picking up your family at the Barcelo hotel after having explained very clearly where to get off the bus. The check in took 1,5 hours instead of 20 minutes and you have called me about 10 times, even late in the evening as you did not know how to lower a blind or how to work the washing machine or something dirty was in the freezer and it appeared to be your own Dominican tamales (pasteles). They were placed where the ice trays were supposed to go with no plastic bag or no protection whatsoever. They were dripping all over the freezer making quite a mess. I think that we have provided a very good service and you have been irresponsible with your electricity consumption.
This condo is one of our most popular condos and in over 3 years NO ONE has ever complained about their electricity bill for this condo or none of the 20+ condos we manage.
It is very simple, you pay for the electricity you consume. That is why we read the meter with the tenants upon arrival and once again we read at check out. We charge the rate that is on the bill.
