We had a wonderful time at this villa in Tortuga Bay. The house was very clean and spacious, and the pool was wonderful. The outdoor sitting areas were perfect and we spent a lot of time there. Even though we were not looking for a live-in housekeeper, it was actually really nice to have Vanessa there -- she cleaned up after us every day and cooked us breakfast and dinner. She was also really sweet to our two little girls, who both loved her. The resort grounds, golf courses, and beaches were absolutely beautiful, and it was great to have the golf cart to get around the resort. Emanuele was excellent to work with -- he was extremely responsive to all of our questions and requests, and went out of his way to accommodate the multiple arrival times of our party and early/late check-out since we have two little children. The only reasons that I did not give the villa 5 stars were: 1) All of the members of our party had to call Emanuele upon arrival at the airport because the pre-arranged transport was not there on time to meet us; and 2) there were some tiny little ants crawling around in the master bathroom. Other than that, we had a fabulous time!

I can't say enough good things about our experience. The entire booking process went smoothly, the property manager was very helpful, professional and friendly putting us right at ease upon arrival. He answered our many questions and gave us input on grocery shopping and things in the area. The house was beautiful - had everything we needed and more. Loved being able to open all the windows and doors, the pool was perfect, loved the outdoor patio, great view, comfortable beds, plenty of room for group gathering, etc. And Vanessa was fabulous. She put up with my basic and often broken Spanish and cooked us a fantastic meal. We weren't really looking for or needing housekeeping services during our stay however she managed to be very helpful with directions and other questions. Our main goal was a home cooked authentic meal and the one she cooked for us was great. We all agreed we'd opt for home cooking again next time. Thanks for a wonderful stay in a beautiful home.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. From beginning to end it was a perfect way to finish off our trip. Emanuele was very professional and quick to respond to our many questions and handled everything we asked for. Vanessa was also a dream. She cooked a Dominican dinner for us one night that was one of the best meals we had there. She also kept the place spotless without us even knowing she was there. The Villa was great. Rooms were nice and the layout was great for us. (3 couples and a solo) The pool area outside, where we spent all but the sleeping hours, was very comfortable. Although not on the beach, I liked the location. It felt very secluded and private. The golf carts are key. We could go tooling around and the beach was only a short cart drive away. Not worth paying for beachfront when you can get there so easily. If I had to change anything it would be to have spent more time there and to have Vanessa fix both our meals.
