Within walking distance, you can pick up some supplies or the day's newspaper at the Ship's Store and talk to the friendly Harbormaster and boat owners. Get a glimpse of lumbering manatees and dolphins right from the docks. Burnt Store Marina is a wonderful Gated Community with a 27-executive hole golf course intertwined on the property. There is a Pro-shop, as well as an eatery and an Aqua-Driving Range. Not only is this Gated Community safe and beautiful, but the residents make it the friendliest place on Earth.
There is also a restaurant, Porto Bello's, right on property next to the Ship's Store. You can enjoy a great meal or sip on a glass of wine while looking out at the boats of Burnt Store Marina. You can even sing along to live bands on the weekends or be entertained by the karaoke 'Pros' on off nights. Either way, it's a lot of fun!
