Casa Iguana is a palapa (thatched roof) home but has all the amenities. It is on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean and by only lifting your head off the pillow you can see whales and dolphins playing in the ocean. It is located in a small community of 13 houses about 1-1/2 hrs. north of Puerto Vallarta. The house has two king-sized bedrooms (one has a single as well), each with its own private bath and balcony or terrace. The villa is located about 1 and a half hours north of Puerto Vallarta in the state of Nayarit (called the Nayarit Riviera). It is about an hour south of San Blas and about an hour north of Rincon de las Guayabitos. It is in a gated community of 13 luxury homes. It is very safe with an extremely friendly staff. The houses are surrounded by jungle vegetation and thus very private. If you book, you can rent a car or have someone from our staff pick you up at the airport. There are wonderful small towns and local markets to explore as well as waterfalls, jungle cruises, birdwatching, deep sea fishing and whale watching. The house is on a cliff with two beaches within easy walking distance; one is a small bay and very safe and tranquil; the other is a little wilder but with tide pools safe for little ones and no undertow.

If you are looking for a relaxing, worry free, get away in a comfortable home in a amazing setting, this is your place. We have been to Plantanitos 6 times over the past ten years and always enjoy our time here. No need to rent a car. Ismael, the caretaker for Costa Cusudio will arrange transport to and from PV and take care of any needs you may have. The meal plan is tasty and a tremendous value, and provides a hassle free experience. You will enjoy your stay
