Description from the manager
Casa Majani is a creation by world-renowned architects Manolo Mestre and Juan Collignon, whose holistic approach to architecture pays homage to the natural while incorporating the contemporary. Native simplicity and warm colors complement modern conveniences, resulting in an alluring and meditative experience. Every room is designed with intention.
A network of pathways through expansive reflection pools connects each unique structure, creating the illusion that this remarkable casa is suspended over the powerful Pacific. Two connecting pools blend with sea and sky, enhancing undisturbed views of the blue horizon with over 150 ft. of in...Read more

Heaven in Punta de Mita
Left on 09/19/2012 for a stay in August 2012
Casa Majani and its staff made our family trip the most memorable that we've had in years. We looked at the other properties on Punta de Mita before choosing Casa Majani and they didn't posses the same charm and newness that Casa Majani exuded. When we arrived, we could not have been happier that we chose Casa Majani. The architecture alone is something to marvel at, let alone the details and decorations throughout the home. The pool is something that most luxury hotels strive to create and often fail. Each day and night, the staff took care of our every want and grocery shopped every day for any food that we requested. Saul, Isaac, Josillas, and the two women that helped with just about anything and everything, were amazing and attentive to what we drank, liked to eat, time for meals, did laundry, etc.
We chose to eat every meal except for dinner one night at Casa Majani. I don't know why anyone would want to leave. We went to Don Pedro's in Sayulita the one meal that we didn't eat in the house and had a great time walking around and exploring the town. We also did a fishing/boat trip to the Marietta islands, which was a lot of fun and had beautiful snorkeling in caves, not to mention seeing the blue footed boobies.
The only improvements that could be made to the home is the internet. The sound system was awesome and everything was controlled wirelessly on iPads so when the internet didn't work, which was often, we had trouble controlling the sound system, checking email, etc. Also, when we arrived, we expected the house to have its own sand beach, which it didn't quite have, although it was ocean/beachfront. Although there is a beach which you can walk down a hill to get to, it's rocky and treacherous depending on the weather. Despite this, we did walk to the St. Regis and the Four Seasons almost every day along the beach, and there are sand beaches at both hotels where you can swim and spend the day if you would like. We didn't choose to because Casa Majani was quiet and felt like our home, but it's an option.
I cannot say enough positive things about the home and the staff from start to finish. We've stayed in luxury resorts around the world and Casa Majani met and exceeded our expectations.
