Ideal for families or couples, our cottage combines contemporary West Coast design with modern urban comfort. Close to many of the island's natural attractions, Fox Meadows is both a private retreat and a well-appointed home base from which to explore Quadra's rich island culture, beaches, and trails.

Quadra Island is located in the heart of the Discovery Islands, a 10-minute ferry ride from Campbell River, north central Vancouver Island, in British Columbia. A longtime tourist destination, Quadra offers visitors a wealth of aquatic and outdoor recreation, a lively arts and summer market scene, a fine complement of restaurants and a newly opened golf course which is minutes by car from the cottage. Conveniently located on the island, it is a 10 minute drive from the ferry and a short walk to Wa-wa-kai beach.

We stayed here with friends over new years last year and had the best time ever!! The cabin was spacious and perfect for us as a group, i could also see it working well for families as there is the cutest little nook upstairs that you can sleep in. Quadra is one of our favorite places to visit and we would stay here over and over again. The Doolittles were more than acccommodating and the perfect hosts! I would recommend this as a place for anyone to stay whenever you have a chance!!

I have stayed at Fox Medows Cottage 3 times and each time have thoughly enjoyed my stay. One of my favorite features of this cottage has to be the steam shower which is the perfect way to relax. The cottage is beautiful, clean and modern with post and beam vaulted ceilings, and a fully stocked kitchen. I would highly recomend this place to anyone planning a trip to Quadra!

Fox Meadows cottage is the perfect retreat for relaxing or as a homebase to explore the island. The cottage has a great open layout with high ceilings and exposed wood beams for lots of light & spaciousness - very clean, fresh and comfortable for 4 people. The kitchen has all the amenities for making meals and entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed the steam shower on cold, wintery days.
