Our charming and sunny waterfront property on the historic Island of Orleans, at only 40 minutes from great Quebec city, has a private in ground swimming pool, therapeutic bath, wood stove, large pictures windows overlooking the St-Lawrence river, allowing you to observe the passing ships. The wooded grounds around the cottage far from the main road will permit you to relax to your hearts content. At the high tide, you will have the feeling of being on a ship!

The cottage is located just a few kilometers from the picturesque village of St.Jean, island of Orleans, considered on of the most beautiful village of the province of Québec. In the village, you will find a restaurant, a local bakery, a grocery store with a S.A.Q. liquor license, a petanque alley. The island itself is a popular touristic destination with its beauty, some interpretation centers, good restaurants, numerous art galeries. The beach and pier in the village of St.Jean is also world renowned for wind-surf.
After a beautiful 40 minutes drive, you will be in the Old Quebec city with all its ambiance and cultural visits (museums, concerts, great restaurant).
For security reasons, renters should have a 4X4 vehicule (or so) during the winter as the private road, well cleaned, has a a steep hill.
