From 20 minutes of Québec city. Quiet and no traffic. We are on the Ile d'orléans. The house is perfect for join all your family. Big table anf full kitchen. This 2500 square foot cottage offer beautiful view of st-lawrence river. You can see big boat. Acces to a private beach. Our house a dream for families and couples alike. The interior was renoveted in 2008 and decorated in a classic cape code style. We just wait for you!!

From 20 minutes of old québec city. The house is located on the island. Its take 16 km after the bridge to come at the house. You need a car. Just a bridge to cross to get there. The island have 42 miles around. You have a lot of things to do or to visit on the island. You can go at the bakery near the house or across the street to go at the restaurant during the summer. The variety store its about 1 minutes. A lots of restaurant in the island. A lot of thing to do and to visit. Farm, vine fabric, artisanat, historic house, theather, etc...

We (8 adults and 2 kids) stayed for 4 days during the Carnival in this house. It is well equipped, has lovely little rooms, everything you could need. The island is very quiet during the winter, many businesses are closed, so make sure you bring food (or be prepared to drive a bit). I'd highly recommend this house to anyone. The owner/caretaker is very attentive and keeps in contact very well. She is responsive and takes good care of her property. We will absolutely come here again.

Venant de France, nous avons loué cette agréable maison pour une semaine à l'occasion du Nouvel an. Nous sommes un groupe d'amis avec des ados/jeunes (3 entre 15 et 18 ans). La maison est spacieuse et parfaitement adaptée pour un petit groupe comme le notre (2 salles de bain, grande pièce à vivre avec cuisine ouverte au rez de chaussée...).
Malgré le froid dehors (un matin il faisait tellement froid que le Saint Laurent gelé fumait !), le chauffage est efficace et il a toujours fait très bon à l'intérieur.
L'ile d'Orléans est un très bel endroit, dépaysant tout en étant à proximité de Québec. La vue sur le Saint Laurent au bout du jardin est superbe.
D'autre part, à proximité de la location, il y a la possibilité de faire une ballade avec les chiens de traineaux (un moment de pur bonheur).
Bref, ce fut une agréable semaine au coeur de l'hiver québécois. -

I stayed in St-Jean Iles d'orlean with a couple of my friends for a weekend and we had a blast. The place was neat, friendly, and actually very causy... I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice vacation home fully equiped with a beautiful view on the St-Laurent River. It is also close to downtown quebec city.
