the neighborhood ( saint-Jean-Baptiste ) is a small but active one with a lot of activites all year; winter carnaval, music festivals, theatre, shows, etc
Grocery-store, health food store, bank, resto, bistrots, coffee shop are all at walking distance. To go the the historical city , you can walk 8 min or take the bus (bus stop in front of the house) and end your tour on the Dufferin Terraze, where you have a beautiful view of St-lawrence River and in Summer take a cruise.
