Two families of 4 stayed at unit 6 Ridge View. The arrangement of the bedrooms accomodated the large group very well. The apartment is very tastefully decorated, with everything you need, and more, and the kitchen cupboards are stocked with so much! The views are beautiful, uninterrupted looking over the lake onto the mountains beyond. It is walking distance to town, but often it was just nice to stay at home, enjoying the surroundings.

The accommodation was extremely suitable for our group of golfers. All the courses we played were within a reasonable distance of the unit. For those wanting a bit of exercise it is an easy walk to town either along the water or via the main road. For those staying in for meals the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. For those wishing to eat out there is a huge variety of restaurants in town to choose from, to cater to all tastes. The experience of playing some very good golf courses with friends and staying at a well presented unit was great.

Always great to visit Queenstown & there is no better place to stay than at Ridgeview. An easy walk town which is a luxury in itself , all the comports of home , great views. You feel so relaxed when you at Ridgeview you dont want to go home.

This trip was a golfing trip at Easter. We found Ridge view to be perfect for a group of friends sharing a holiday. It's well located for various golf courses or wineries or drives and very spacious, great views, sun streaming in and very comfortable.
It's a short walk into town & even early april, the pubs had fires going. Awesome atmosphere. The weather was sunny and clear and mostly warm so didnt need the heating on or a fire.
Stayed in or got takeaways or popped down into town - its all easy. We were with family who hadn't been to Queenstown before and they were blown away! Fabulous challenging golf courses, lovely day drive over Crown ranges to Wanaka and back via Cromwell & wineries.

My family and I {4 adults and 2 kids} had a fabulous 3 nights here. Not only did we love Queenstown, but we loved the house as well, and the views were heavenly. The booking service was wonderful as well-no complaints at all! The only thing I will mention, is that the walk back to the house from town is quite hilly. My kids and I did the walk several times, but my in-laws preferred to take the car in and out of the town. I highly recommend a stay here!

Hi, Although your review is lovely I think that you may have reviewed the wrong property. Your photos look like the property is on Queenstown Hill and ours is in Suburb street (not such a steep hill).

The location was very convenient, a few minutes walk to shops restaurants and the hub of the township. The accommodation was first class, very comfortable and with all modern conveiences.Access was easy and the views from the property were great to wake up to.The home provided all amenities one could wish for on a holiday.Despite visiting in Summer, the property also provided extremely well for a great Winter stay with very adequate provision for warmth in all areas.A double garage with internal access was convenient.The service was superb.

Loved Ridge View - the house design is ideally suited to groups or families, kitchen is well stocked and layout is great, lots of living space (indoors and out) for everyone. Ideally situated for walking into town, skiing, golf courses, wineries. We had a great time! And gorgeous views too - loved the house, love Queenstown!

Hi there
We spent a week in lovely Queenstown in this fantastic accomodation, all bedrooms were spacious and well appointed, brand new applicances and an awesome entertainment centre. Just a short walk from the town centre and the most fantastic views from the living room and bedrooms over the lake the apartment is perfectly located.
A short drive to Coronet peak and Remarkables ski fields and to other adventure activities and golf in Queenstown this accomodation is well postioned to take advantage of all the exciting things Queenstown has to offer.
Great central heating for the winter months and a cosy fireplace, great for a couple of glasses of red wine.
You will not be disapointed.

Just spent a week in this apartment with the family and friends for skiing and the rugby world cup and loved every minute of it.
The set-up is fantastic and the views from two deck breath taking. The layout works well for a family of five like ours and still had room for guests or grandparents. Mutiple bathrooms and lashings of hot water were just what was needed for the post ski wind down - spa bath in the main bedroom was also a bonus for those with older legs!
Full wifi access and two cable receivers meant that all entertainment tastes were catered for, back to back rugby world cup on one tv and lifestyle/kids channels on the other.
The location is also great, close to the beautiful Queestown Gardens for tiring out the young legs (very good skatepark amazingly with no graffiti and frisbee golf course!) but also only 10 mins walk from all the bars and restuarants - great to walk off dinner or the odd drink.
From a skiing perspective 3 resorts are in striking distance with the buses to Cardrona and the Remarkables stopping at the end of the street - made it easy to get the kids there in time for ski school.
We would highly recommended this apartment and we are looking forward to coming back again in summer and winter. -

This was one of those trips where everything went right! The weather was better than expected, the golf courses were sensational (shame about the standard of play), & the accomodation was perfect. More spacious than the photos suggested & very well kitted out. The easy stroll to town was a lovely way to start the evenings celebrations & commiserations. We'll certainly be recommending this place to out golf club.

Ridgeview was perfect accommodation,Very centrally located, less than a 10 minute walk to town.Clean,modern and spacious accommodation. The bedroom on the top floor was sunny and had a private verandah with uninterrupted views of the lake & the beautiful mountains. A view you cannot stop looking at. Look forward to returning.

We stayed at this house earlier this year (2011). It has an excellent postion, great finish, excellent facilities, a beautiful deck to drink your sundowners on and easy walk to Queenstown town centre. We played golf at the nearby golf course with so of the most stunning views. Highly recommended for family or a group of friends.

I was very surprised at the space in the house, the convenience and the fact that it had all the same utensils and applicance in my kitchen at home. Thank you, we have already booked for next year.
